Responsibilities: <p><strong>Key Responsibilities and Objectives</strong></p> <p>Develop and maintain continuous improvement of the Business Unit&rsquo;s Quality, Environment, Safety and Health procedures and topics.</p> <p>Support all Business Unit Locations and Operations Executives in QESH matters to safeguard compliance and risk management.</p> <p>Implement global QESH guidelines and strategies with the Division Head of QESH, including global certification, key initiatives and action plans in close collaboration with Executive Team.</p> <p>Maintain full compliance with Federal, state and local regulations regarding business operations and local, divisional and corporate regulations.&nbsp; Also track new legal development and requirements.</p> <p>Define clear responsibilities for all QESH Officers within the global organization, train and coach QESH Officers and Managers.&nbsp; Also clarify and define different levels of organization for Management.</p> <p>Audit and assess global sites to ensure full compliance according to strict company standards.</p> <p>Validate QESH data collected and reported by all responsible entities.</p> <p>Approve, maintain and oversee all QESH related communication via intranet and other company media.</p> <p>Coordinate&nbsp; information management system for the business unit, including all tools that support the system.&nbsp; Also train and control the ISO conformity.</p>
Requirements: <p><strong>Qualifications and skills &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>Excellent and proven leadership skills in influencing complex teams with the ability to motivate and challenge indirect reports.</p> <p>Operational excellence with problem solving aptitude; Comprehensive understanding and insight of operational processes, policies and procedures.</p> <p>Experience working with KPIs and enforcing Quality, Environment, Safety and Health guidelines.</p> <p>Strong strategic skills.</p> <p>Capacity to learn and implement important change initiatives.</p> <p>Clear communicator and enforcer of strong expectations, excellent verbal and written communication skills.</p> <p>Leadership authority to motivate and hold people accountable.</p> <p>Capability to successfully interact with a diverse group of individuals from various international, multicultural teams.</p> <p>Experience working with different sites globally.</p> <p>Ability to travel 20%, more in the beginning.</p> <p>Ability to enforce ISO 9001, 14001, OHSAS 18001 Standards</p> <p><strong>Education and Experience</strong></p> <p>University Degree, Engineering or Production or related experience required.</p> <p>5-10 years minimum experience working in a manufacturing environment in a leading Quality, Environment, Safety and Health role.</p> <p>Fluency in German and English is a must.</p> <p>Excellent knowledge of MS Office.</p>
