Vice President

Overview: <p>This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on and strategic HR leader who can put processes and people in place to take our client into a future high-growth period.</p> <p>As the Vice President of HR for the company, you will work closely with the CEO who is charged with taking this company to the next level. We are seeking an experienced business sparring partner who can be a sounding board and coach to the leadership team. We are seeking a leader that has experience putting best practices and processes in place internationally, especially with organizational design in a fast-paced environment with organic and inorganic growth. The ideal candidate will also have extensive experience filling talent gaps in a way that compliments the organization's strategy.</p> <p>If you are an internationally-minded HR professional with a passion for building something impactful, this role is for you!</p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Working together with the CEO and senior leadership, develop an organizational design and people strategy that supports growth initiatives</li> <li>Develop stronger governance, processes and procedures to fit with growth strategy (to elevate what was a family-owned business and culture)</li> <li>Build and execute a performance management process that is effective and supports business strategy and growth initiatives</li> <li>Conduct a talent assessment of key leadership team members and determine alignment with future strategy</li> <li>Develop talent roadmap for bringing new leaders into organization and implement succession planning</li> <li>Develop and execute blueprint that will keep organization ahead of the growth so organization is ready with talent on all levels as business evolves</li> <li>Conduct the occasional due diligence and process/talent integration of any future acquisitions</li> <li>Overhaul executive compensation in a way that incentivizes top performance and shifts the culture to one focused on success</li> <li>Support the organization as they transition through a new branding</li> <li>Coach, support, and develop any direct reports, including a HR Director based in China</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Strong business acumen and highly strategic mindset</li> <li>Ability to build HR strategy supporting an organic and inorganic growth initiative</li> <li>Decisive, logical, and structured</li> <li>Strong listening skills</li> <li>Excellent communication skills and the ability to win over business stakeholders</li> <li>Some experience in M&amp;A</li> <li>Experience in organizational design</li> <li>Ability to drive company culture in line with company branding and goals</li> <li>Someone who is not afraid to speak up/share ideas</li> <li>Ability to make difficult decisions and stand by them</li> <li>A high level of change management capabilities</li> <li>Ability to work across global time zones</li> <li>Ambitious/confident/intuitive</li> <li>Positive leadership style and can-do attitude</li> <li>Ability to work independently</li> <li>Ability to assess a business and develop solutions for the HR function and beyond</li> <li>Demanding of self and others</li> <li>English &ndash; business level / Mandarin helpful</li> <li>University education / Master&rsquo;s degree</li> <li>10+ years in a strategic HR leadership role</li> <li>HR experience from Med-Tech, Contract Manufacturing or Technology industries</li> <li>Consulting experience desired</li> <li>Background in organizational design, talent management, performance management, executive compensation</li> <li></li> </ul>
