The eager sales manager will drive performance across the NE region by leading outside channel partners from select manufacturer rep firms. You will be a hands-on partner and problem solver. This position requires an energetic mindset, pharmaceutical industry regulation knowledge, and the willingness to influence and advance partnerships internally and externally throughout the Americas region and even globally. The ideal candidate must be solutions oriented and able to manage customer escalations and difficult challenges from the manufacturing organizations who are relying on the technology.</p> </div> </div> </div> </div>
Responsibilities: <div class="page" title="Page 1"> <div class="section"> <div class="layoutArea"> <div class="column"> <ul> <li>Identify, maintain/grow number of active accounts in the assigned territory</li> <li>Oversee and influence outside rep firms to ensure targets and growth initiatives are met</li> <li>Meet or exceed the sales and other targets set for the assigned region</li> <li>Creatively utilize company resources and own skill set to optimize sales success</li> <li>Cultivate senior level relationships at assigned accounts to drive further business development and retention</li> <li>Monitor and interpret industry trends and specific requirements applicable to the product line and develop comprehensive tactical plans to identify and penetrate attractive accounts and sustainably grow the business</li> <li>Partner with senior leadership and innovation teams to identify customer needs allowing the company to offer competitive differentiated solutions</li> <li>Develop the confidence of the internal team members by consistently delivering on commitments and working effectively in formal and informal cross-functional teams</li> <li>Provide market data and information as required to support tactical pricing recommendations on both new and existing products to accelerate market penetration</li> <li>Develop and maintain a robust set of KPIs that can be tracked and monitored on a regular basis</li> <li>Prepare a formal reporting as needed</li> <li>Create a close working relationship with other departments as needed to drive sales and other performance measures</li> </ul> </div> </div> </div> </div>
Requirements: <div class="page" title="Page 2"> <div class="section"> <div class="layoutArea"> <div class="column"> <ul> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree Required</li> <li>10+ years' experience in sales selling capital goods equipment to the pharmaceutical market</li> <li>Experience selling through independent distribution channels and/or rep agencies</li> <li>Understanding of pharmaceutical packaging industry ideal</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to penetrate new and existing customers and close orders</li> <li>Strong track record of sales success working through independent sales organizations (non-exclusive)</li> <li>Strong negotiation skills</li> <li>Hands-on management style</li> <li>Track record of closing corporate deals</li> <li>Critical thinking and advanced problem-solving capabilities</li> <li>Ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders including external sales reps, customers, and other divisions of our client company</li> <li>Ability to help external reps enter new customer companies through connections and resourceful thinking</li> <li>Engaging, aggressive, and driven</li> <li>Ability to handle unanticipated challenges</li> </ul> </div> </div> </div> </div>
