Overview: <div class="page" title="Page 1"> <div class="section"> <div class="layoutArea"> <div class="column"> <p>This role is responsible for spearheading, planning, implementing, and measuring supply chain operations for the location facility related to forecasting, sourcing, procurement, supplier performance, planning, and inventory control, including implementations and integrations with new and existing operations. You will perform strategic procurement activities across multiple categories of spend driving optimal supplier performance and selection, while executing productivity opportunities. At a high level, you will be managing purchasing, production control, and the customer service team within the operations function, driving cross functional engagement and collaboration within operations and other functional areas of the business.</p> <p>The ideal candidate will have proven experience working in a medium size business, with strong strategic and tactical skills, as well as demonstrated ability to think critically regarding al related topics, within an evolving process environment. This role also requires a robust knowledge and experience on processes implementation/ improvement, and developing rigor within the function, to support company's best practice evolution.</p> </div> </div> </div> </div>
Responsibilities: <div class="page" title="Page 2"> <div class="section"> <div class="layoutArea"> <div class="column"> <ul> <li>Own and lead SFMOP process, driving an effective materials plan, order alignment, and support production execution in order to meet customer needs and business targets</li> <li>Implement effective material inflow strategies driving flexibility to receive materials on time with reduced lead times while managing inventory levels and costs</li> <li>Manage the company master schedule to ensure level loading of customer orders and implementing various reports, programs, and tools used to assist the scheduling process</li> <li>Ensure Purchasing and Production is aligned with Customer Service team in support of customer needs and communications</li> <li>Develop strategic sourcing strategies and craft negotiation strategies to address total spend, while assessing, managing, and mitigating supply chain risk</li> <li>Identify and develop future strategic plans supporting the overall correspondent division of the organization</li> <li>Consistently recognize and design implementation plans to execute productivity opportunities, primarily to PPV and overhead savings</li> <li>Collaborate with functional areas to drive implementation of VA/VE, labor efficiency and productivity opportunities</li> <li>Forecast market trends for raw materials and communicate fluctuations that may affect cost to the business to functional leaders in operations, finance, commercial, and business leaders</li> <li>Own functional metrics ensuring targets are sustained and report through daily operations reviews and monthly business reviews</li> <li>Identify and drive supplier corrective action plans driving optimal supplier performance and risk mitigation</li> <li>Effectively manage inventory levels by reducing on hand value and days on hand, manage EIO stock through effective phase out planning and consistently working to plan to reduce total value</li> <li>Lead team through NPI&rsquo;s and product modifications ensuring milestone dates are managed through optimal sourcing and effective phase in and phase out of materials, supporting a successful implementation into production</li> <li>Execute physical inventories, ensure sustainment of daily cycle counts, and drive accountability and RCCM in regards to inventory accuracy</li> <li>Participate in the company ISO9000 process, writing, approving, and communicating ISO procedures and related documentation</li> </ul> </div> </div> </div> </div>
Requirements: <div class="page" title="Page 3"> <div class="section"> <div class="layoutArea"> <div class="column"> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree preferably in Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration/ Operations, MBA advantageous</li> <li>Ten+ years&rsquo; professional supply chain experience within a complex manufacturing environment, of which several years in a Supply Chain/Procurement management position</li> <li>Experience in implementing supplier improvement programs and supplier scorecards</li> <li>Experience and understanding in value engineering processes</li> <li>Contract management experience with proven track record of year-on-year cost reduction implementation APICS and CPM certifications preferred</li> <li>Ability to track and understand key cost drivers</li> <li>Project management skills</li> <li>Strong negotiation skills</li> <li>English fluency</li> </ul> </div> </div> </div> </div>
