Overview: <div class="page" title="Page 1"> <div class="section"> <div class="layoutArea"> <div class="column"> <p>This position is responsible for new account development&nbsp;and expanding existing accounts within the assigned geographic territory, meeting or exceeding the annual sales target by offering and promoting system packaging to customers. This will include identifying and addressing all key factors associated with the purchasing decision (i.e. price, delivery, quality, technical solution, etc.) as well as solving key problems with a positive resolution.</p> <p>This role will provide after-sale customer service and assistance. You will additionally support and maintain a representative network. Lastly, you will be tasked with providing timely feedback to management pertaining to market and competitive trends.</p> </div> </div> </div> </div>
Responsibilities: <p class="cvGsUA direction-ltr align-justify para-style-body">&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li><span class="OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none">Responsible for new account development and expanding existing accounts within an established geographic territory</span></li> <li><span class="OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none">Must meet or exceed assigned sales quotas</span></li> <li><span class="OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none">Call on prospective customers, provide technical and administrative product information, and assist customers to determine proper product that meet requirements and application</span></li> <li><span class="OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none">Coordinate internal resources (Engineering, Materials, Manufacturing) and submit technical and price proposal to the customer</span></li> <li><span class="OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none">Follow up on leads and quotes</span></li> <li><span class="OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none">Provide technical and price support to the territory representatives</span></li> <li><span class="OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none">Support and attend trade shows on an 'as needed' basis</span></li> <li><span class="OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none">Provide feedback to the General Manager on market and competitive developments</span></li> <li><span class="OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none">Assist in the training and development of the Sales Representatives</span></li> <li><span class="OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none">Special sales projects as needed</span></li> <li><span class="OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none">Other duties as assigned</span></li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li><span class="OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none">Technical degree or equivalent work experience</span></li> <li><span class="OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none">5-8 years of demonstrated sales experience</span></li> <li><span class="OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none">Computer literate</span></li> <li><span class="OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none">Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills</span></li> <li><span class="OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none">Proven record of technical sales in the devices, appliances and hardware electronics or industrial manufacturing industry, with proven track record of selling pieces and components to Engineering</span></li> <li><span class="OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none">Excellent organizational and influential skills with a &ldquo;go getter&rdquo; approach, selling to companies developing products</span></li> </ul>
