Overview: <p>We are seeking a strong operations leader to manage several support functions of this organization across the US and Canada.&nbsp;&nbsp; This is an extremely fast-paced company in the service industry and your plate will be full.&nbsp; Your ability to lead numerous business initiatives at once as well as manage these specific support functions will be critical to your success.&nbsp; We are seeking an operations leader who can roll up their sleeves, be present in the markets served, enjoy meeting with your customers, solve problems and continually engage with your teams.&nbsp; Your creative business approach and the ability to formulate strategy and build strong business cases is key.&nbsp; This company is all about continuous improvement; bring your ideas! &nbsp;You will be supported by a strong team with a wealth of knowledge within this industry.</p>
Responsibilities: <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Drive business functions through P&amp;L management</p> <p>Define, develop and execute strategy</p> <p>Oversee support functions of Safety, Fleet Management and Operations Support Group (field staffing/talent definition/best practices)</p> <p>Lead continuous improvement projects</p> <p>Sit on Senior leadership team for US/Canada</p> <p>Support CEO with specific projects and initiatives</p> <p>Oversee the operations performance to ensure strong productivity, market share and profitability</p> <p>Manage and approve operating budgets, proposals for capital investments (equipment in field, technology, infrastructure etc.)</p> <p>Manage team &ndash; coach, mentor, develop</p> <p>Ensure systems are used across the business to maintain compliance.&nbsp; Address gaps.</p> <p>Oversee, monitor and implement safety and security measures as well as key performance indicators related to all aspects touching organization &ndash; people, facilities, equipment</p> <p>Will lead, oversee and approve any RFP processes in correlation to new business or renewals</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Reports to North American CEO</strong></p> <p><br /> </p> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
Requirements: <p><strong>Qualifications and skills </strong></p> <p>Strong financial and business acumen</p> <p>Ability to understand KPI&rsquo;s and their ability to drive profitability and operational performance</p> <p>Strategic mindset</p> <p>Ability to motivate teams and deliver the highest of quality standards</p> <p>Passion for continuous improvement and moving business to next level</p> <p>Ability to develop relationships at all levels, internally and externally</p> <p>Ability to work at speed of lightning</p> <p>Strong communication skills, ability to speak up</p> <p>Ability to influence others and work in strong matrix environment</p> <p>High business ethics and strong personal integrity</p> <p><strong>Education and experience</strong></p> <p>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree followed by Master&rsquo;s degree preferred</p> <p>5+ years of P&amp;L responsibility</p> <p>Experience leading sizable, remote teams spread across US</p> <p>Previous project experience in digitalization helpful</p> <p>Service industry background preferred</p> <p>Experience in at least two of the following : Fleet Management, QHSE and Operations Support</p>
