Overview: <p>The successful candidate is one who can ensure, promote and drive continued growth in the Asia South East region.&nbsp; The position of Director of Sales is responsible to evaluate, develop and implement all local national strategies and sales activities in the Asia South East region (Singapore/Malaysia).&nbsp; This individual will work with, influence, develop and manage the field sales teams across the region, as well as managing closely the distributors and other partners in the assigned markets.<br /><br /></p> <p><strong>Reports to VP of Sales, Asia Pacific</strong></p>
Responsibilities: <p>&nbsp;</p> <div> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Effectively develop and support the sales growth and distribution expansion programs that are consistent with the Company&rsquo;s brand strategies.</li> <li>Provide leadership to own field sales and distributor/partner management and evaluate their performance, make field sales staffing and/or partners changes as necessary. Cultivate an environment where sales and performance growth is being measured and celebrated.&nbsp;</li> <li>Develop tools and strategies to support the region&rsquo;s sales growth. Work with internal marketing, advertising, publications and other groups to promote sales activities.</li> <li>Effectively forecast monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals and track actual performance of current market data against projected goals and adjust predictions accordingly.</li> </ul> </div>
Requirements: <p>Demonstrated success in winning and motivating leadership of sales teams across regions/countries</p> <p>Excellent interpersonal skills demonstrated by ability to develop solid relationships with authorized distributor and partner organizations and consumers.</p> <p>Ability to effectively interact within internal diverse levels of company management.</p> <p>Strong communication skills at all levels (verbal, written and formal presentation).&nbsp; Able to perform exceptional active listening skills.</p> <p>Effective ability to empathize and understand customer needs and field sales personnel with different ethnic, cultural and national backgrounds.</p> <p>Open to extensive travel and flexible work hours.</p> <p><strong>Education and experience</strong></p> <p>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Business Management, Business Administration, International Business or related field is required.</p> <p>MBA in Business Administration, International Management or Marketing a plus</p> <p>Background with 10 years&rsquo; minimum of sales /sales management in Asia South East is &nbsp;mandatory.&nbsp; Substantial experience in two-step distribution as well as direct sales required.</p> <p>Experience working for international organization is required</p> <p>Fluent in English and ability to speak Mandarin is mandatory</p>
