Overview: <p>This is an exciting opportunity to lead the manufacturing site for a business unit in Russia but working with global customers.&nbsp; &nbsp;You will use your dynamic leadership skills to strengthen business performance and facilitate continuous improvement. As the Head of Plant Operations, you will directly manage department heads of Project Management, Engineering, Procurement, Production, Logistics, and Facilities Management.&nbsp;</p> <p>This is an exciting and highly rewarding opportunity to join a dynamic company that is planning significant corporate growth in all areas of its business in the mid and long term.&nbsp; They will consider both relocation and expatriate packages.&nbsp;</p>
Responsibilities: <p>Lead and coordinate all operations areas within the plant</p> <p>Cooperate with regional and international operations organization for the company</p> <p>Ensure definition and implementation of adequate operational KPI&rsquo;s to support operations strategy and targets in alignment the company objectives and priorities</p> <p>Sets improvements for the business unit continuous improvement plan, especially LEAN improvements</p> <p>Manages and develops people within the operations area while ensuring focus on the overall business unit strategy</p> <p>Maintain timelines in a very process and project focused environment</p>
Requirements: <p>Excellent and proven leadership skills in managing operations functions</p> <p>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</p> <p>Detail oriented and able to handle multiple tasks concurrently</p> <p>Complex problem skills and able to identify, develop and implement solutions</p> <p>Highly organized and superior time management skills, especially in times of stress</p> <p>Fluency in English; fluency in Russian a plus</p> <p>Degree in Engineering</p> <p>5 years minimum experience in the industrial sector in a leadership role, preferably in metal working</p> <p>Experience working in a technical position or operations management important</p>
