Overview: <p>The General Manager will oversee the full P&amp;L and operational performance of a large manufacturing site, leading a multi-disciplinary team across production, commercial operations, finance, HR, quality, and IT. The mandate is to ensure stability, efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement while driving the next phase of operational excellence.</p> <p>This leader will be responsible for evolving the plant&rsquo;s organizational structure, optimizing processes, developing talent, and elevating the site&rsquo;s operational standards in alignment with global expectations, playing a pivotal role in driving transformation within a world-class, growing organization that offers significant opportunities for career advancement and international impact.</p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Lead the full business unit with end-to-end P&amp;L accountability</li> <li>Oversee daily operations to ensure products are manufactured on time, in full, and to required specifications</li> <li>Manage a&nbsp;<strong>24/7 production cycle</strong>&nbsp;with low cycle times and high-output requirements</li> <li>Improve OEE, reduce scrap, and strengthen operational KPIs</li> <li>Oversee production planning, scheduling, maintenance, warehousing, and raw material flow</li> <li>Build and develop high-performing teams and foster a culture of accountability and collaboration</li> <li>Drive strategic initiatives, operational improvements, and new product introductions</li> <li>Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and governance standards</li> <li>Lead budget planning, forecasting, and cost optimization initiatives</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>5+ years of experience as a General Manager or operations leader within a mid-size industrial or manufacturing organization</li> <li>Educational background in Engineering or Technical field; plus relevant professional training</li> <li>Strong background in&nbsp;<strong>high-volume, low-margin manufacturing</strong></li> <li>Hands-on operational expertise with&nbsp;<strong>24/7 production environments</strong></li> <li>Experience with plastics, injection molding, compression molding, or similar processes preferred</li> <li>Proven success improving operations performance (OEE, quality, cost, output)</li> <li>Experience leading teams of 50+ in a manufacturing setting</li> <li>Strong strategic thinking paired with an entrepreneurial, solution-oriented mindset</li> <li>Business Professional Level English and Spanish communication skills required; bonus if fluent in German</li> <li>Comfort working in a fast-scaling, performance-driven manufacturing environment</li> </ul>
