Overview: <p>Reporting to the Global CHRO and Regional SVP of the Business, the Head of Human Resources Latin America, will have the opportunity to transform the business working collaboratively with senior leadership for the region.&nbsp; We are seeking a HR executive with proven success driving important change initiatives, as well as creating and executing strategy supporting critical process and continuous improvement activities.&nbsp; The Head of HR will oversee the day to day operations for the HR team throughout Latin America, while providing strong, effective leadership. The successful candidate will be the advocate for human resources within the executive team and will champion best practice in areas such as labor relations, HR process efficiencies,&nbsp; employee engagement and retention to achieve organizational excellence.</p> <p>This is an exciting and highly rewarding opportunity to join a company that is planning significant growth in all areas of its business!</p>
Responsibilities: <p>Develop and execute important change initiatives including new processes and tools to support HR while tieing to business objectives</p> <p>Manage and lead the HR function for the entire Latin American region (14 countries)</p> <p>Adapt and or develop the long-range strategic vision, anticipate change.&nbsp; Manage unknowns to maximize the success of the overall business</p> <p>Develop programs that encourage employee participation and engender long term commitment, reducing employee turnover, while managing a budget, costs and forecasts</p> <p>Ensure training, professional development, executive recruitment and retention are aligned with the company's strategic objectives and goals</p> <p>Integrate HR policies into the company</p> <p>Ensure strong succession planning is in place and develop a positive employer brand</p> <p>Coach, support and develop a strong and highly effective HR team</p> <p>Develop, support and encourage an environment that is results-focused and highly positive</p> <p>Develop and oversee the organization&rsquo;s labor relations strategy, as well as work with internal labor relations specialists to ensure all legal requirements and regulations are met and in alignment</p> <p>Provide recommendations and be a confident sparring partner to senior management team regarding all areas within HR</p> <p>Develop and put in place HR structures and programs that foster best practices and help achieve organizational objectives, while directing the team to ensure a top-notch training and development plan is delivered that meets the company and employees&rsquo; needs</p>
Requirements: <p>Track record of successful change management initiatives, preferable in a merger/acquisition atmosphere</p> <p>Strong, impactful leadership skills with ability to coach and develop teams</p> <p>Deep analytical skills and commitment to developing initiatives based on facts, evidence and data</p> <p>Excellent English, Spanish or Portuguese a plus but not required</p> <p>Strong written and verbal communication skills</p> <p>Great team player as well as leader who shares ideas and is highly collaborative</p> <p>Able to travel up to 50% within Latin America</p> <p>University degree in related field</p> <p>Extensive experience with Latin America region</p> <p>Minimum 10 years of experience in human resource management as HR Business Partner</p>
