Overview: As the Head of Marketing &amp; Product Management, you will have the opportunity to drive the overall product strategy to support this organization&rsquo;s incredible growth. You will hold responsibility for the full life cycle of the product portfolio as well as manage the bridge between the North American customers, Global R&amp;D and Sales. You will bring a strong market understanding of applications, installations, customer voice, industry trends and influencers, ultimately then integrating this knowledge into the strategy work streams and new product development demands. You will develop a comprehensive marketing and communication strategy for new products while nurturing products in the early development phase and ensure the marketing KPI&rsquo;s are met. <br /> <br />We are seeking a candidate with a strong track-record of success who also can develop teams and lead them on a successful path. Additionally you will have a wealth of experience launching new products and platforms, including the creating of tools and platforms to support sales and marketing in the continued achievement of growth.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Lead, coach and develop the marketing team and oversee their program areas, including content, market strategy and technical marketing</li> <li>Develop strong market understanding pertaining to the role of the company, industry applications, industry growth, industry trends, key stake holders and integrate market knowledge into strategy work streams and new product development</li> <li>Manage the product portfolio through different stages of product life cycles.</li> <li>Define product requirements and marketing strategy (value proposition, differentiation, product positioning, target customer and market reach).</li> <li>Develop comprehensive marketing communications packages for both external and internal stakeholders</li> <li>Monitor and steer achievement of KPIs defined in the project (sales targets, profitability, etc.)</li> <li>Deep dive to gain comprehensive understanding of the market environment and its dynamics by using market research methods and translating these into a conclusive report highlighting company relevance and opportunities</li> <li>Foster a deeply collaborative relationship with sales, customer service and technical teams and continually empower them with new messaging and materials that enhance the customer experience</li> <li>Other duties as assigned</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Strong analytical skills, ability to draw conclusions, present findings</li> <li>Strong understanding of marketing strategy, content strategy and the relevant creative processes</li> <li>Ability to motivate teams, influence across functions at all levels, including internationally</li> <li>Ability to work independently&nbsp;</li> <li>Quick study, organized, detail oriented, decisive</li> <li>Strong MS Office suite Exposure to data analysis tools, social media, online tools</li> <li>Ability to travel up to 50% as needed (including internationally)</li> <li>Open to global mindset Team oriented and collaborative Leadership abilities</li> <li>Strong project management skills Visionary, strategic, hands on (no job to large or small to tackle)&nbsp;</li> <li>7+ years of experience in B2B Marketing or Product Management</li> <li>University degree in Marketing or Engineering, MBA preferred</li> <li>Industry specific experience highly preferred (solar / construction / building materials</li> </ul>
