Responsibilities: <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <p>Drive sales, and support the expansion of the customer base for a new and innovative technical product area for Germany and all of Europe</p> <p>Work together with a cross functional team, while maintaining the effectiveness of high-performing results and a team culture that maintains passion and excitement for what is being created.</p> <p>Cooperate with production, product management, marketing and application engineering to confirm capabilities, details and selling points for this new technology in order to expand and maintain technical knowledge, leadership capabilities, and ideas and dedication to the product area</p> <p>Identify customer applications in target markets to expand capabilities and increase market shares, gaining new customers in the sales area</p> <p>Take on long-term strategic sales planning to be responsible for economic profit and success for your area, ensuring excellence through continual review and action</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Reports to &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Head of Sales</strong></p> <p><strong>Will be a part of a European sales team divided into sub-areas.</strong></p>
Requirements: <p><strong>Qualifications and skills</strong></p> <p>Strong Sales knowledge coming from the manufacturing industry</p> <p>Ability to work with a cross functional team (production, product management, application engineering, sales and marketing)</p> <p>Pioneer / Entrepreneurial / Innovative spirit</p> <p>Passionate about industry and project</p> <p>Strategic mindset, as well as goal-oriented, creative, flexible, self-motivated, and independent</p> <p>Ability to influence others</p> <p>Intercultural Competence</p> <p>Comfort to present, persuade and negotiate to potential customers</p> <p>Ability to travel &ndash; 80% (most regionally, but some across Europe)</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Education and experience</strong></p> <div> <p>3 - 5 years&rsquo; experience in Direct Sales (B2B) within the Oil/Gas industry</p> <p>Technical training, Technical degree favored</p> <p>&ldquo;Start-Up&rdquo; mindset</p> <p>Sales competency in technical components, manufactured parts or similar industry / product</p> <p>Experience establishing new product business highly preferred</p> <p>Fluency in both German and English a must</p> <p>Knowledge of MS Office, Sales Force, SAP and Lotus Notes</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> </div>
