Overview: <p><strong><em>The Position</em></strong></p> <p>Excellent opportunity for a Finance leader to drive APAC/Middle East finance function for this multinational.&nbsp;&nbsp; Through your excellent leadership capabilities, you will drive a sizable team across all specialties within finance for the region.&nbsp; We are seeking a leader who enjoys being hands on, motivating the team through example and positive energy.&nbsp; Your previous financial leadership experience working for a publically traded manufacturing company, complemented by your sound Sarbanes-Oxley knowledge, will be key to your success.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; As the APAC Finance Leader, you will drive the short and long term strategic planning, lead continuous excellence and change projects as well as ensure complete compliance is adhered to.</p>
Responsibilities: <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Instill excitement, passion and motivate regional team through empowerment at the highest of levels</li> <li>Manage regions compliance and accounting controls.</li> <li>Manage and direct forecasting, develop the short and long-term strategic plan for region</li> <li>Will drive continuous improvement and excellence covering controls, compliance, systems and efficiencies for the regions finance area</li> <li>Attract, train, mentor, develop and retain best in class team of professionals</li> <li>Will collaborate and support in the implementation of a regional shared service model</li> <li>Will oversee, develop and implement important projects for region including upgrades of systems and controls as necessary.</li> <li>Will ensure compliance within SOX as well as maintain safeguards and internal controls</li> <li>Ensures US GAAP reporting requirements are adhered to.</li> <li>Manages relationships and point of contact with external audit support.</li> <li>Ensures and supports as needed in preparation of monthly reporting</li> <li>Provides support as needed within potential acquisition activity and its integration for financial area of business</li> <li>Will support as needed on tax compliance</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <strong>Reports to Global Head of Finance</strong>
