Overview: <p>Exciting opportunity awaits an experienced Chemist who has a well-rounded experience developing adhesive/epoxy based 2-component systems that will create innovative solutions for the end user in the building materials industry.&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;State of the art laboratories will enable you to develop, test, and evaluate new projects all in one place.&nbsp; At times you may visit suppliers supporting these new innovations, as well as make visits to our client&rsquo;s HQ to collaborate on the various projects.</p>
Responsibilities: <p>Support multiple complex projects</p> <p>Work with internal partners to understand business needs and develop innovative products</p> <p>Delivering projects on time based on timelines, costs, resources and final objectives</p> <p>Ensuring all documentation is correct and follows all regulations and guidelines required</p> <p>Will support the management of risks and complaint process</p> <p>Establish future processes and projects based on new technology in the market</p>
Requirements: <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>PhD in Chemistry &ndash; Polymer or organic chemistry focus preferred</p> <p>Masters in Chemistry Required</p> <p>3+ years practical/laboratory / R&amp;D experience in the building materials industry required</p> <p>Experience working with, developing or testing 2 component chemical based product systems</p> <p>Experience in the development of adhesives, epoxy, cements or mortar type products used in building materials or similar industry</p> <p>Highly analytical</p> <p>Strong communication skills, with ability to explain challenging topics and projects to others, both internally and externally</p> <p>Ability to relocate in the future as you develop your career</p> <p>Ability to travel up to 25%</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
