Responsibilities: <ul class="ignore-global-css"> <li class="ignore-global-css"><span class="ignore-global-css"><strong class="ignore-global-css">Assess Resident Interests and Needs </strong>Ensure all new residents are interviewed within 7 days of move-in to determine their level of interest and preferred activities, using the Resident Interest Worksheet.&nbsp; Provide an orientation to new residents regarding available programs and opportunities.&nbsp; Continuously assess residents&rsquo; engagement preferences and suggest appropriate programs to meet their needs.&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></li> <li class="ignore-global-css"><span class="ignore-global-css"><strong class="ignore-global-css">Coordinate Resident Engagement Activities </strong>Develop a monthly calendar of events designed to stimulate residents intellectually, physically, socially, and spiritually.&nbsp; Coordinate and manage daily activities while staying within budgeted limits.&nbsp; Organize internal and external entertainment and ensure it aligns with residents' interests.&nbsp; Ensure activities are scheduled as planned, minimizing cancellations or changes.&nbsp; </span></li> <li class="ignore-global-css"><span class="ignore-global-css"><strong class="ignore-global-css">Plan and Execute Quarterly Marketing Events </strong>Collaborate with the Director of Sales and Marketing, the Director of Culinary Services, and other staff to organize quarterly events that serve as both resident engagement activities and marketing tools.&nbsp; Plan, advertise, set up, and clean up these events, focusing on resident enjoyment and participation.&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></li> <li class="ignore-global-css"><span class="ignore-global-css"><strong class="ignore-global-css">Coordinates Transportation for Resident Activities </strong>Plans and organizes transportation for residents to attend off-site activities, including sightseeing trips, medical visits, and destination outings.&nbsp; Ensure that transportation is available for residents needing assistance with medical or recreational travel.</span></li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul class="ignore-global-css"> <li class="ignore-global-css"><span class="ignore-global-css">High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate or bachelor&rsquo;s Degree strongly preferred in Social Service, Business, Recreation, or a field related to the position. </span></li> <li class="ignore-global-css"><span class="ignore-global-css">Must have proven management experience and ability to manage staff. </span></li> <li class="ignore-global-css"><span class="ignore-global-css">Minimum of three years&rsquo; experience in assisted living preferred. </span></li> <li class="ignore-global-css"><span class="ignore-global-css">Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel required&nbsp;</span></li> <li class="ignore-global-css"><span class="ignore-global-css">Valid Driver License&nbsp;and ability to become insured.&nbsp;</span></li> <li class="ignore-global-css"><span class="ignore-global-css">Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test.</span></li> </ul>
