Overview: Manages and implements all aspects of the Environmental Services resources delivery system with minimal supervision. Independently assist in performing a broad range of office and warehouse duties to include receive, unload, store, issue and deliver equipment, property, materials, tools and supplies; take inventories, maintain records of capital equipment acquisitions, locations, transfers and dispositions; perform relief work as required.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Observe and enforce safety rules</li> <li>Receive, unload, store, deliver and maintain supplies, tools, equipment and materials</li> <li>Inspect incoming shipments to assure correct price, quality/quantity are received in accordance with the orders</li> <li>Negotiate purchases with respect to price, discount, quality, quantity, delivery dates</li> <li>Monitor supply versus demand consumption to identify and anticipate inventory management problems or opportunities.</li> <li>Anticipate critical material requirements; oversee tracking of overdue material and direct purchasing to successfully resolve them.</li> <li>Purchase materials, tools, and equipment, and maintains inventories.</li> <li>Establish and maintain vendor relationships.</li> <li>Coordinate and submit timely and accurate inventory control data and analysis to the Environmental Services Manager.</li> <li>Coordinate, conduct and participate in physical inventories.</li> <li>Determine proper location of supplies to allow maximum space utilization.</li> <li>Record and maintain data recording using an automated tracking and monitoring system.</li> <li>Resolve discrepancies as they arise.</li> <li>Train, supervise and evaluate assigned personnel.</li> <li>Reconciles inventory records with automated reports.</li> <li>Verify invoices/billings for accuracy;</li> <li>Participate in periodic and annual physical inventories of warehouse stock, supplies and equipment</li> <li>Perform minor repairs on equipment, move, assemble furniture, shelves and racks;</li> <li>Schedule and maintain periodic maintenance services for Agency-owned/leased vehicles to include licensing, insurance requirements and smog check program;</li> <li>Track and ship returned or damaged stock, supplies and equipment</li> <li>Perform routine clerical work using computer, calculator, copy machine; maintain files and logs,</li> <li>Retrieve and post data in an automated system</li> <li>Lift and move heavy objects and equipment weighing up to 85 pounds;</li> <li>Manage recycling and waste disposal;</li> <li>Prepare necessary correspondence and reports;</li> <li>Perform vacation and temporary relief as required;&nbsp;</li> <li>Perform related responsibilities as required or assigned.</li> <li>Work safely and take responsibility for a safe and healthy workplace.</li> <li>Contribute to the accomplishment and continual refinement of the mission and goals of Central Coast Energy Services.</li> <li>Support each member of the Central Coast Energy Services team in the efficient delivery of quality service.</li> <li>Train others to become productive members of the Central Coast Energy Services team.</li> <li>Be dedicated to the compassionate service of those in need.</li> <li>Maintain confidentiality of customer information and personnel matters.</li> <li></li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Minimum of two years&rsquo; experience performing duties comparable to that of the Resources Coordinator.</li> <li>Must be self-starter with exceptional organizational and communication skills.</li> <li>Knowledge of inventory control and records management procedures and practices.</li> <li>Ability to perform basic mathematical computations</li> <li>Ability to monitor supply usage and maintain supply levels.</li> <li>Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.</li> <li>Good knowledge of the principles and practices of supervision.</li> <li>A dynamic ability to get things done.</li> <li>Proficient with various components of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access).</li> <li>Possession of a California driver&rsquo;s license; vehicle insurance, and a good driving record.</li> </ul>
