Overview: <p>This position will be responsible for the leadership, alignment, coordination, and the delivery of a comprehensive K-12 Framework and implementation plan to support the development of high school curriculum models. As well as develop systems of support for vertical articulation K-12 to implement and sustain college and career readiness pathways.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Support the development of a K-12 vertical articulation plan and process.</li> <li>Provide collaborative school support with state teams to our K-12 schools.</li> <li>Develop a K-12 Framework and implementation guide to support the development of our high school models.</li> <li>Develops and oversees educational programs for K-12 models as outlined by state standards.</li> <li>Work closely with Director of Curriculum and Instruction and school staff to support department improvement initiatives and processes.</li> <li>Coordinate with the Director of School Design and Development to develop and maintain processes and tools for school model development.</li> <li>Work in Ft Lauderdale as needed.</li> <li>Travel as needed to provide school support and attend in-person National Meetings.</li> <li>Attend weekly Curriculum and Instruction meetings virtually.</li> <li>Attend weekly A-Team meetings virtually.</li> <li>Provide support for Charter Renewals to ensure fidelity to programming plan.</li> <li>Coordinate with the Director of School Design and Development to develop charter application content specific to all CSUSA Classical Model Schools and monitor state-specific and authorizer requirements.</li> <li>Coordinate with the Director of School Design and Development to develop and maintain processes and tools for school model development.</li> <li>Thorough knowledge of school operations, organizational and leadership development; knowledge of CSUSA's K through 12 instructional program, policies, and procedures.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>**MAY PERFORM OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED**</strong></p> <p><strong>DISCLAIMER</strong></p> <p>The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed. Ability to lead and facilitate meetings or work groups.</li> <li>Ability to research, understand, and evaluate instructional programs and methodologies for effectiveness in meeting school improvement targets.</li> <li>Ability to develop and deliver training for adult learners.</li> <li>Excellent, written, and oral communication, and interpersonal skills.</li> <li>The ability to think quickly and creatively to solve problems, conduct data analysis, and write/edit reports and presentations.</li> <li>Possesses strong time management and organizational skills and the ability to prioritize wisely.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>JOB REQUIREMENTS</strong></p> <ul> <li>Master's degree in related field, including business administration OR bachelor's degree with equivalent and relevant experience.</li> <li>6+ years' work experience in an analytic/strategic role with a proven track record of at least five years of leadership experience managing others in a professional capacity.</li> <li>Strong business acumen skills and general management awareness.</li> <li>Working knowledge of Microsoft suite.</li> <li>Experience in administration of non-instructional operations including transportation, food services, technology, facilities, and/or student support specific experience in the areas of education and operations is preferred.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>WORK ENVIRONMENT</strong></p> <p>While performing the responsibilities of this position, the work environment characteristics listed below are representative of the environment the employee will encounter:</p> <ul> <li>Usual office working conditions.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>PHYSICAL DEMANDS</strong></p> <ul> <li>No physical exertion required.</li> <li>Travel within or outside of state.</li> <li>Light work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force as frequently as needed to move objects.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT</strong></p> <p>Salary and benefits shall be paid consistent with CSUSA salary and benefit policy.
