As an&nbsp;Accounts Payable Specialist II, you will have an increased level of experience, expertise and responsibility.<span data-darkreader-inline-color="">&nbsp;Perform accounting and clerical tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions.</span></p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Reviews, audits and enters vendor invoices into NetSuite.</li> <li>3-way match PO to receiving to invoice.</li> <li>Preparing and uploading large AR data files into NetSuite.</li> <li>Interacts and resolves problems with vendors, internal and external customers.</li> <li>Reconciles vendor statements.</li> <li>Performs audit and compliance review of corporate credit card activity.</li> <li>Answer all vendor inquiries.</li> <li>Reconciles invoices to weekly wire transfers.</li> <li>Responsible for the void check process.</li> <li>Printing checks or ACH processing</li> <li>Assist with accounts receivable with AR vs AP reconciliations.</li> <li>Executes internal controls related to assigned areas and tasks.</li> <li>Print accounts payable reports and maintain files.</li> <li>Completes work to meet departments weekly and monthly deadlines.</li> <li>Coaches and assists internal customers on AP issues.</li> <li>Maintain high level of confidentiality and awareness.</li> <li>Performs special projects as requested by Management.</li> <li>Prepare, maintain and reporting of 1099 records.</li> <li>Assist with other projects as needed.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Advanced accounting and bookkeeping techniques, practices, and procedures.</li> <li>Ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.</li> <li>High degree of accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to use sound judgment.</li> <li>Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills.</li> <li>Ability to prioritize and meet departments weekly and monthly deliverables.</li> <li>Microsoft Excel -- ability to create spreadsheets, formulas, use pivot tables and VLOOKUP's.</li> <li>Microsoft Windows Applications i.e., Outlook, MS Word.</li> <li>Multi-task and possess strong organizational skills.</li> <li>Oracle NetSuite knowledge.</li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong>Job Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>Associate degree preferred.</li> <li>Strong Full Cycle AP experience 5 years + with heavy volume.</li> <li>Oracle NetSuite.</li> <li>MS Excel -- advanced.</li> <li>3-Way Match.</li> <li>Strong data entry.</li> <li>Organized/Detail Oriented.</li> <li>Internal/external customer relations.</li> <li>E-procurement 3-way match.</li> <li>1099 filing.</li> <li><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">May perform other duties as assigned.</span></li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">Work Environment</span></strong></p> <p><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">While performing the responsibilities of this position, the work environment characteristics listed below are representative of the environment the employee will encounter:</span></p> <ul> <li data-darkreader-inline-color="">Usual office working conditions.</li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">Physical Demands</span></strong></p> <p><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
