Senior Manager/Supervisor

Overview: <p><strong>The opportunity</strong></p> <p>Reporting to the Director of the PMO,&nbsp;we are&nbsp;looking for an experienced leader, negotiator, relationship builder and spokesperson. A Program Manager who can jump in and successfully manage and deliver the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) implementation project. This project will provide the incumbent with the unique opportunity to lead the end-to-end implementation of an enterprise-wide CRM to improve and optimize data management and business processes supporting a $100M/annum revenue stream.</p> <p><strong>Who you are</strong></p> <p>You have a minimum 10 years of progressive Project Management experience which has led to your most recent years of experience as a Program Manager implementing CRM and/or ERP projects. You are looking for your next challenge and a chance to spearhead a project with profound impact. You believe in change management, knowledge sharing, transparency, communication and process. You excel at presenting to C-level decision makers and can lead a conversation transforming issues into resolutions. You take total accountability for your project delivery, always thinking 3 steps ahead and ensure that even the smallest detail does not get missed.</p>
Responsibilities: <p><strong>What you will do:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Oversee a major CRM implementation project and associated satellite projects. You will take ownership of the overall program and ensure that program deliverables are completed on-target, and as planned. You will: <ul> <li>Be accountable for the successful and efficient execution of the PMLC.</li> <li>Assess and manage risks, issues and changes within and across all projects, holding vendors and team accountable for meeting deadlines.</li> <li>Clarify and communicate project objectives and success criteria, participating in biweekly steering committee meetings and signoffs.</li> <li>Drive delivery satisfaction with key business stakeholders, gaining approvals at each stage and maintaining transparent and effective communications.</li> <li>Ensure established business processes are followed, managing budgets and escalate issues as required.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Lead, manage and motivate the project team. You will foster a highly collaborative environment and encourage open lines of communication providing feedback and coaching to project team members. You will act as a change agent, creates an environment that inspires and motivates employees and delivers peak performance and superior results.</li> <li>Manage stakeholders. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders and partners. You will build relationships and manage expectations, communications, escalations, feedback with executive sponsors, vendors, third-party partners etc. You will develop a deep understanding of the business needs, processes and data sources to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of proposed solutions.</li> <li>Prepare and present updates. You will prepare all status reporting and keep the appropriate people informed and up to date in a timely manner, such as team members, senior management and the business on the status of projects. This includes client-facing presentations during key project points and ad hoc requests.</li> <li>Complex problem-solving. You will be proactive in taking the initiative and the lead for identifying and resolving issues. You will cope with project changes effectively and efficiently. You are aware of all interdependencies in your project delivery and ensure everyone is aware of the linkages.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <p><strong>So, how do we know you are the new Program Manager for us? You have:</strong></p> <ul> <li>The education. You have a Bachelor's degree in Commerce Technology or a related field. You have a PMP certification. ITIL and COBIT certifications strongly preferred.</li> <li>The experience. You have a minimum of 10 years demonstrable program management experience with several with CRM (Salesforce), ERP or MDM implementation projects under your belt. You have solid understanding and experience with the PMLC and SDLC and significant experience implementing enterprise-wide applications is an asset. You are an expert with MS Office Suite including MS Project.</li> <li>The interpersonal skills. You have proven consulting experience, consisting of facilitation, presentation to senior level audiences, consensus building, conflict resolution and negotiation.Your communication skills - written, verbal, presentation- are outstanding. You are comfortable talking to teams from the engineering level upwards to C-level executives.</li> <li>The leadership. You can drive a project to completion hitting all targets and meeting all deliverables. You have the tact and negotiation skills to gain consensus as well as the tenacity to push forward. You can decisively manage planning and scheduling, budget and forecasting, scope change and risk management.</li> <li>The project management skills. You have a confident personality and the intelligence to make well-balanced decisions. You can prioritize and keep your eye on multiple concurrent projects. You are passionate about program and project management principles and practices.
