Responsibilities: <p style="margin: 4.45pt 0in 0pt;"><strong><span style="font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif; font-size: 9pt;">Strategy</span></strong></p> <ul> <li>Develop and evolve the short and long term Wealth Management strategy for Chemical Bank in conjunction with the Chief Banking Officer.</li> </ul> <p style="margin: 5.75pt 0in 0pt;">&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Remain alert, informed and forward-thinking about opportunities and risks in the industry.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p style="margin: 4.25pt 0in 0pt;">&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales goals for markets/regions; project expected volume and profit. Oversee business model/organizational redesign, operations improvement and change management.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p style="margin: 5.75pt 0in 0pt;">&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Work closely with HR Compensation to advise and execute on commission, bonus and incentive plan designs.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p style="margin: 5.75pt 0in 0pt;">&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Develop and maintain strong working, collaborative relationships with business partners in Commercial, Mortgage, Retail, Treasury Management.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p style="margin: 5.75pt 0in 0pt;"><strong><span style="font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif; font-size: 9pt;">Execution</span></strong></p> <p style="margin: 4.25pt 0in 0pt;">&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Play key role in coordination of efforts to expand market share; exhibits an entrepreneurial mind-set.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p style="margin: 4.25pt 0in 0pt;">&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Lead cross functional project teams to evaluate and address situations as they arise within Wealth Management.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p style="margin: 6pt 0in 0pt;">&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Develop a marketing business plan, a client relationship management plan and sales plans with the team.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p style="margin: 4.25pt 0in 0pt;">&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Monitor ongoing progress against the strategic plans by tracking KPIs and milestones, adjusting as needed. Identify and address barriers as they arise (cultural, leadership, resourcing, capabilities.)</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p style="margin: 5.75pt 0in 0pt;">&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Develop and manage departmental operating/expense budget. Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Finance required, a Master's or Juris Doctorate Preferred. 10+ years experience managing Trust, Private Banking or Financial Services business lines. CTFA Required.</li> </ul> <p style="margin: 5.75pt 0in 0pt;">&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>8+ years managing high performance work teams, with proven team management skills to include coaching, development and communication of team goals and roles, provide timely feedback.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p style="margin: 5.75pt 0in 0pt;">&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>High degree of investment services and product acumen, and keen interest in financial markets.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p style="margin: 5.75pt 0in 0pt;">&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Ability to develop a diverse team and creates a climate in which people are motivated and empowered to do their best, inviting input and sharing ownership in the regional strategy.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p style="margin: 5.75pt 0in 0pt;">&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Excellent strategic vision; understands the direction of the organization and where Wealth fits into the strategic plan; can articulate vision to motivate and influence others.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p>
