Overview: <p style="margin-bottom: 0pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif; font-size: 9pt;">Responsible for the leadership, management, operational excellence, growth and profitability of an assigned region. This includes overseeing the Mortgage Sales Department which encompasses consistent feedback, including recognition for performance results and coaching for performance improvement. Develops revenue, volume and market share objectives for assigned staff and region. Establishes and achieves sales and budget goals and marketing strategies for the products sold. </span></p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Manage a team of LPO Sales Manager and applicable supervisory personnel.</li> <li>Work with LPO Sales Managers and Senior Mortgage Lenders to ensure awareness of mortgage loan products and policies.</li> <li>Ensure all referrals from each banking center are provided appropriate follow-up and feedback.</li> <li>Develop referral contacts (realtors, builders, professional and personal contacts).</li> <li>Maintain knowledge of available loan products, processing procedures, underwriting, and general departmental guidelines.</li> <li>Follow defined protocol for escalation exceptions.</li> <li>Manage pipeline for all originated loans through closing and complete required management reports.</li> <li>Maintain high levels of customer service while managing each team member's expectations.</li> <li>Attend and participate in all Consumer Lending and other departmental meetings, as required.</li> <li>Work closely in conjunction with all business lines to encourage and promote home mortgage lending.</li> <li>Determine success rate of meeting certain benchmarks and update required team performance reports.</li> <li>Develop and/or assist in special functions, sales rallies, etc.</li> <li>Lead departmental management in identifying possible improvements in systems and procedures.</li> <li>Actively participate in ongoing efforts to continually improve customer service for both internal and external customers.</li> <li>Responsible for the immediate resolution of all customer complaints including appropriate documentation.</li> <li>Monitor compliance issues, including that all team members attend required meetings and are in compliance with state and federal regulation, as well as policies and procedures set by the Bank.</li> <li>Monitor quality levels of team members to ensure adherence to standards.</li> <li>Manage resolution of all loan issues through appropriate operational personnel.</li> <li>Perform personnel tasks for the team, reviews, coaching, and identifying training issues.</li> <li>Manage and/or coordinate all applicable mortgage loan operations.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li style="margin-left: 27pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif; font-size: 9pt;">High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Business or related course of study preferred.</span></li> <li style="margin-left: 27pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif; font-size: 9pt;">Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in residential mortgage lending.</span></li> <li style="margin-left: 27pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif; font-size: 9pt;">In-depth knowledge of conventional, government, and portfolio guidelines.</span></li> <li style="margin-left: 27pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif; font-size: 9pt;">Minimum of 7-10 years supervisory experience, which includes coaching and staff development.</span></li> <li style="margin-left: 27pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif; font-size: 9pt;">Strong management and leadership skills.</span></li> <li style="margin-left: 27pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif; font-size: 9pt;">Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</span></li> <li style="margin-left: 27pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif; font-size: 9pt;">Expert knowledge of sales and sales strategies including new business development and relationship management skills.</span></li> <li style="margin-left: 27pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif; font-size: 9pt;">Through knowledge of mortgage products, services, operations, federal lending regulations governing real estate lending, and current market trends.</span></li> <li style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt 27pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif; font-size: 9pt;">Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. </span></li> <li style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt 27pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif; font-size: 9pt;">Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers and the general public</span></li> <li style="margin-left: 27pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif; font-size: 9pt;">Ability to be self-directed and make independent decisions. </span></li> <li style="margin-left: 27pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif; font-size: 9pt;">Possess excellent problem solving and decision making skills. </span></li> <li style="margin-left: 27pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif; font-size: 9pt;">Highly organized with strong attention to detail.</span></li> <li style="margin-left: 27pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif; font-size: 9pt;">Proficiency in MS Office Suite, spreadsheets and database lending software.</span></li> <li style="margin-left: 27pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif; font-size: 9pt;">Expert knowledge of sales and sales strategies</span></li> </ul>
