Overview: The Wealth Officer is a dedicated subject matter expert who will support Wealth Advisors in delivering our enhanced suite of core banking services and other day-to-day delivery of wealth services.
Responsibilities: <p style="margin: 6.35pt 0in 0pt;"><strong>Customer Service</strong></p> <ul> <li>Actively manage the banking relationship for a select group of clients to ensure the client receives the best products, services, and rates for his or her needs.</li> <li>Deliver consultative service with an advice-based approach to product recommendations and deeps client relationships pro-actively identifying opportunities to bring new suitable money into the Investment Portfolio.</li> <li>Take ownership for resolving the client&rsquo;s banking issues, identifying needs, and thinking "beyond the products".</li> <li>Partner with internal business partners to cross-market and promote financial services and products such as home equity, mortgage, and small business in order to meet/exceed client experience.</li> <li>Build relationships with clients, thoroughly understand their financial motivations and provide products and solutions in order to help them achieve their goals.</li> </ul> <p style="margin: 5.75pt 0in 0pt;">&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p style="margin: 5.75pt 0in 0pt;">&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p style="margin: 5.75pt 0in 0pt;">&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p style="margin: 5.75pt 0in 0pt;">&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p style="margin: 6pt 0in 0pt;"><strong>Banking</strong></p> <p style="margin: 8pt 0in 0pt;">&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Track the prospect's experience from the initial meeting to close. Collaborates with other specialists as needed to ensure the Private Banking client experience is delivered.</li> <li>Actively managing the banking relationship, ensuring the client receives the best products, services, and rates for his or her needs.</li> <li>Provides clients with current industry trends and commands a thorough knowledge of banking products and solutions.</li> <li>Deepen client relationships by cross selling additional solutions based on customer needs.</li> <li>Takes ownership for resolving client&rsquo;s banking issues.</li> </ul> <p style="margin: 11pt 0in 0pt;"><strong>Administration/Compliance Risk Management</strong></p> <p style="margin: 5.75pt 0in 0pt;">&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Carry out all activities with a high level of ethics and integrity.</li> <li>Ensures prospect/client information is appropriately entered, updated, and managed via the database.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p style="margin: 4.25pt 0in 0pt;">&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p style="margin: 9.5pt 0in 0pt;"><strong>Community Involvement</strong></p> <p style="margin: 4.25pt 0in 0pt;">&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Attend functions as a representative of the Chemical Bank and the Wealth Management Department.</li> <li>Actively participate in the activities of the local community, may lead to volunteerism efforts.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p style="margin: 4.25pt 0in 0pt;">&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p style="margin: 14.75pt 0in 0pt;"><strong>Other / Miscellaneous</strong></p> <p style="margin: 4.25pt 0in 0pt;">&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Travel is needed to meet with clients on-site at various locations across the assigned region.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree required</li> <li>3 - 5 Years Experience in Function</li> <li>7 - 10 Years Experience in Industry</li> <li>NMLS registration required</li> <li>Life license preferred</li> <li>Bachelor's Degree in business, finance or related field, and/or 7 -10 years progressive experience and high level of expertise in Wealth Management solutions.</li> <li>Minimum of 3 - 5 years of successful sales/client service experience in Wealth Management solutions required.</li> <li>Broad and in-depth knowledge of Wealth solutions, bank products and services.</li> <li>Exhibits a sense of urgency and a continual drive to results coupled with an ability to partner effectively with management at all organizational levels.</li> <li>Excellent interpersonal negotiation, verbal and written communication and presentation skills.</li> </ul>
