Overview: <p style="margin: 6pt 0in 0pt;">The Wealth Specialist will provide administrative and operational support to the Wealth Advisors, Wealth Officers, and Regional Fiduciary Officers. Will manage the banking relationships for affluent clientele, and serve as the first point of contact for Wealth clients needing banking and transactional based support.</p>
Responsibilities: <p><strong>Customer Service</strong></p> <ul> <li>Working within delegated authority or standard department guidelines, provide assistance with client transactions and problem resolution, including deposit, borrowing, and online banking inquiries, treasury management, and trust.</li> <li>Assist clients with problems and needs when Wealth Officer is unavailable.</li> <li>Act as a liaison between the banking center team and wealth clients to ensure transactions are processed, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashing checks, etc. while providing an unparalleled client experience.</li> <li>Respond to clients' requests in a timely manner, providing exceptional customer service; takes ownership of resolving client&rsquo;s wealth and banking issues.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Wealth Team Support</strong></p> <ul> <li>Arrange individual files for each premier banking client, and maintain updated personal financial statements, tax returns and other appropriate reporting information for each client.</li> <li>Provide telephone coverage; screen calls as needed, determine caller needs and necessary routing.&nbsp;</li> <li>Take and deliver messages timely.</li> <li>Assist with calendar management, scheduling internal/external meetings. Manage facility's needs and coordinate conference calls.</li> <li>Provides administrative support to assigned Wealth Officers/Wealth Advisors/Regional Fiduciary Officer, which may include creating/assembling documentation, creating mailing shipments, making copies, distributing mail, etc.</li> <li>Provide support on daily client priorities, maintaining ERM, client hierarchy and pipeline management.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Administration/Compliance Risk Management</strong></p> <ul> <li>Carry out all activities with high level of ethics, integrity, and confidentiality.</li> <li>Maintain familiarity with systems and procedures for opening depository accounts and completing various depository transactions.</li> <li>Ensures prospect/client information is appropriately entered, updated, and managed via the database.</li> <li>Assist with departmental reports as needed.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Community Involvement</strong></p> <ul> <li>Participate in Chemical Cares Day and other volunteer events in the local community.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Associate's degree in business required, Bachelor's degree preferred.</li> <li>Minimum of 5 years of administrative or related experience, and 3-5 years in banking, with experience assisting high net worth clients with their financial needs.</li> <li>Experience with a Bank's Trust Platform preferable. Must be able to assist both clients and the wealth team with platform needs.</li> <li>Must be proficient in data entry, and navigating through banking core system as well as CRM software and consumer lending data base.</li> <li>Must be customer service driven, and able to deliver superior service to high net worth clients.</li> <li>Advanced listening, written and oral communication skills.</li> </ul>
