Competitive Compensation and Benefits Package

Overview: <p style="margin: 8pt 0in 0pt;">The Wealth Advisor will help current and prospective clients examine their immediate and planned future financial situations, identify their financial goals, and develop a comprehensive investment and financial plan that takes into account risk, reward and opportunity. They are the In-market quarterback responsible for building and growing affluent relationships with the ultimate goal of maximizing wallet share. Wealth Advisors have the primary responsibility for driving solicitation of new business into the Wealth Platform, as well as growing deposits and loans. Ownership of the overall client relationship. Target new relationships in excess of $500,000 of deposits or AUM.</p>
Responsibilities: <p><strong><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">Business Development</span></strong></p> <ul> <li><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">Identify and establish strong relationships with Wealth Management referral sources, commercial lenders, attorneys, CPAs and other professional centers of influence.</span></li> <li><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">Development of new and expanded client and institutional relationships with a primary focus on discretionary investment management.</span></li> <li><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">Responsible for developing new relationships for the Bank, and broadening and deepening the overall relationship of existing clients with the bank.</span></li> <li><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">Responsible to cross-sell bank products and make the introduction of bank partners to clients and prospects where appropriate.</span></li> <li><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">Understand and partner to deliver all solutions within Wealth Management (Retirement Plan Services, Fiduciary Services, Banking, Financial Services) to meet/exceed client experience. &nbsp;</span></li> </ul> <p><strong><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">Investment Management</span></strong></p> <ul> <li><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">Ability to establish client investment objectives including risk tolerance, asset allocation, and cash requirements.</span></li> <li><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">Develop an investment strategy with each client based on their goals, objectives and risk tolerance, and annually review this strategy.</span></li> <li><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">Monitor portfolio performance versus benchmark and develop insights regarding key contributors and detractors.</span></li> <li><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">Quarterly monitor asset allocation relative to policy and goals; and any portfolio issues (i.e., taxes, liquidity events, etc..) Present alternative investment ideas to clients.</span></li> <li><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">Evaluate large holdings for performance relative to the overall portfolio and plan strategies for diversification.</span></li> </ul> <p><strong><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">Financial Planning</span></strong></p> <ul> <li><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">Develop a knowledge of the client's entire financial and family situation and be able to structure a goals-based investment and financial plan. &nbsp;</span></li> <li><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">Prepare customized investment recommendations, including proactive, high impact planning solutions (estate, tax, insurance, stock options, investment, and retirement.)</span></li> <li><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">Understand and coordinate income tax planning and work closely with client tax advisors.</span></li> <li><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">Seek to establish a level of trust and confidence with the client so that any financial issue can be addressed and solutions offered.</span></li> </ul> <p><strong><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">Client Service</span></strong></p> <ul> <li><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">Act as the relationship leads for a book of clients, ensuring timely communication and support to both the client and their advisors.</span></li> <li><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">Must have the ability to discuss investment performance, economic and market trends.</span></li> <li><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">Prepare customized investment recommendations, including proactive, high impact planning solutions (estate, tax, insurance, stock options, investment, and retirement.)</span></li> </ul> <p><strong><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">Other / Miscellaneous</span></strong></p> <ul> <li><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">Travel is needed to meet with clients on-site at various locations across assigned region.</span></li> <li><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">Attend strategic meetings, speaking to advisory boards, speaking at officers&rsquo; meetings, coordinating with other lines of business within the Region.</span></li> <li><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">Community involvement.</span></li> <li><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">Other duties and projects as assigned.</span></li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree required</li> <li>7- 10 Years Experience in Function</li> <li>10 - 15 Years Experience in Industry</li> <li>CFP Preferred</li> <li>Bachelor's Degree in business, finance or related field and/or a minimum of 7 years of progressive experience and high level of expertise in Wealth Management.</li> <li>Must have a minimum of 5 years of financial planning, investment and/or private banking experience.</li> <li>Position requires strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills, along with robust analytical skills, both in identifying problems and evaluating solutions.</li> <li>Proficient in all Microsoft Office Applications, and experience manipulating Bank Core System; experience with Trust Accounting system and CRM preferred.</li> <li>Proficient listening, written and oral communication skills, with a passion for helping people with their financial needs.</li> <li>Must be able to profile clients and articulate concepts in an understandable way. Proven track record of 5+ years in sales.</li> </ul>
