Overview: Responsible for setting business and people priorities in designated geography that drives financial results and memorable customer experience. Bring synergy and collaboration to the Region's Wealth team. Direct the activities and oversee the solicitation of new business; ensure that the quality of service provided meets/exceeds standards.
Responsibilities: <p style="margin: 4.45pt 0in 0pt;"><strong><span style="font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif; font-size: 9pt;">Leadership<br /></span></strong></p> <ul> <li>Supervise, coordinate, coach, mentor and counsel Regional Wealth Management Sales and Service Team. Supervise the sales and service responsibilities for all Wealth staff in the assigned region.</li> <li>Responsible for developing and evaluating relationship management, sales and service skills of team members through regular coaching sessions, joint calls, and team meetings. Determine and oversee the training of customer-facing staff.</li> <li>Coordinate and coach the sales and service activities of the Regional Team; manage standards of service and service performance of the team.</li> <li>Be a leader of the Company Culture, setting a people agenda to ensure we deliver on our Mission of being driven to enhance the lives of the communities we serve by consistently exceeding expectations.</li> <li>Responsible for recruitment, retention, performance and developmental coaching.</li> <li>Must also be able to source a pipeline of talent for future open positions.</li> </ul> <strong><span style="font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif; font-size: 9pt;">Business Development</span></strong> <ul> <li>Plays key role in the coordination of efforts to expand market share; exhibits an entrepreneurial mind-set</li> <li>Serves as an ambassador for the Bank and specifically, for the evolution of the business in the region</li> <li>Develops a market business plan and client relationship management and sales plans with the team and ensures that the plans are executed, in order to achieve financial goals for the region.</li> <li>Identifies and establishes strong relationships with the Bank&rsquo;s Wealth Management referral sources, attorney&rsquo;s and other professional centers of influence.</li> <li>Administers and maintains the profitability of assigned high profile trust and investment accounts and cross-sells to gather additional assets to expand client relationships.</li> </ul> <strong><span style="font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif; font-size: 9pt;">Compliance Risk Management</span></strong> <ul> <li>Work in coordination with Line of Business Managers to ensure compliance within each line of business.</li> <li>Create a culture of risk and control that acts with appropriate understanding and urgency; with ultimate responsibility to safeguard our customers and business.</li> <li>Resolve complex issue around working with high net worth clients</li> </ul> <strong><span style="font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif; font-size: 9pt;">Community Involvement</span></strong> <ul> <li>Coordinate the Community Involvement of the staff at the site of the event.</li> <li>Actively participate in the activities of the local community.</li> <li>Hold a leadership role on at least one community board.</li> </ul> <strong><span style="font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif; font-size: 9pt;">Other / Miscellaneous</span></strong> <ul> <li>Travel is needed to meet with clients on-site at various locations across the assigned region.</li> <li>Attend strategic meetings, speaking to advisory boards, speaking at officers&rsquo; meetings, coordinating with other lines of business within the Region.</li> <li>Participate in Wealth Management Senior Management Committee and Trust Investment Committee.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree required</li> <li>Professional certificate or graduate degree required</li> <li>10 - 15 Years&rsquo; experience in function</li> <li>15+ Years&rsquo; experience in industry</li> <li>CTFA preferred</li> <li>10+ years experience in Trust, Private Banking or Financial Services. Prior experience in sales management (either wealth or related field.)</li> <li>8+ years managing high performance work teams, with proven team management skills to include coaching, development and communication of team goals and roles, provide timely feedback.</li> <li>High degree of investment services and product acumen, and keen interest in financial markets.</li> <li>Proficient in all Microsoft Office , and experience with manipulating Bank Core System required, experience with trust accounting systems and CRM preferred, including reporting functionality.</li> <li>Ability to develop a diverse team and creates a climate in which people are motivated and empowered to do their best, inviting input and sharing ownership in the regional strategy.</li> <li>Excellent strategic vision; understands the direction of the organization and where Wealth fits into the strategic plan; can articulate vision to motivate and influence others.</li> </ul>
