Competitive Compensation and Benefits Package

Overview: Responsible for the generation, growth and management of profitable middle market commercial relationships including loans, deposits and non-interest service fee income. Retain and provide solutions to existing commercial relationships through value based cross-sales and internal referrals. Actively develop quality prospective new clients and centers of influence. Properly manage and administer assigned loan portfolio and maintain appropriate current risk ratings. Work closely with credit staff to perform in-depth analysis of new and existing loan requests.
Responsibilities: <p><strong><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">New Business Development</span></strong></p> <ul> <li><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">Grow a diverse, profitable, commercial middle market relationship portfolio.</span></li> <li><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">Source, develop and underwrite new commercial middle market loan financing requests for new and existing customers.</span></li> <li><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">Perform annual reviews with clients and be able to identify new opportunities for both the Bank and the client. Work with client to identify and understand their business needs. Develop solutions to achieve these needs and recommend appropriate bank products and loan structure.</span></li> <li><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">Maximize bank profitability through appropriate pricing of new loan originations, deposit pricing, treasury management fee income and all other bank products and services.</span></li> <li><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">Establish and maintain a deep network of new business referral resources and centers of influence. Form working relationships with internal referral sources.</span></li> <li><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">Participate in local civic, cultural and community reinvestment act activities.</span></li> <li><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">Be a customer and bank advocate in negotiating terms and conditions of customer requests.</span></li> </ul> <p><strong><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">Portfolio Maintenance</span></strong></p> <ul> <li><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">Actively manage and understand credit risk within the portfolio, and maintain appropriate risk ratings according to the Bank&rsquo;s current credit policy.</span></li> <li><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">Gather the financial information needed to monitor credit risk.</span></li> <li><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">Review and analyze financial information obtained from the client.</span></li> <li><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">Correspond with the credit analyst, customer, and on occasion with the CPA and an attorney to ensure all necessary information is obtained and any additional questions are answered.</span></li> <li><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">Make decisions about denying, recommending counter-offer or approval of loan requests consistent with credit policy.</span></li> <li><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">Ensure proper and accurate documentation of loan requests. Make sure the customer is completely familiar with the terms of the obligation. Ensure that the loan documentation is consistent with the Bank approval.</span></li> <li><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">The eventual collection of a loan regardless of the need to rely on others for servicing, documentation or other forms of assistance.</span></li> <li><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">Early detection and identification of problem loan situations and the surfacing of any credit deterioration to appropriate management and maintaining accurate loan risk ratings. Take ownership of credit quality of loan portfolio.</span></li> <li><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">Manage the total return of the relationship.</span></li> <li><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">Actively manage risk ratings, overdrafts, covenant compliance and annual reviews of portfolio.</span></li> </ul> <p><strong><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">Teamwork</span></strong></p> <ul> <li><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">Embrace and live the corporate values and mentor peers and credit analysts.</span></li> <li><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">Achieve goals by working with the team and providing an enjoyable, valuable and memorable customer experience.</span></li> <li><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">Proactively build relationships both inside and outside of the organization.</span></li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">Bachelor's degree required</span></li> <li><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">Professional certificate or graduate degree preferred</span></li> <li><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">5 - 7 Years&rsquo; Experience in Function</span></li> <li><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">7 - 10 Years&rsquo; Experience in Industry</span></li> <li><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">Completion of formal credit training with demonstrated skill in handling complex accounts with above average performance.</span></li> <li><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">Demonstrated ability to source and produce new commercial business.</span></li> <li><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">Excellent analytical and negotiating skills.</span></li> <li><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to organize and deliver presentations.</span></li> <li><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">Strong time management practices, a sense of urgency to meet deadlines.</span></li> <li><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">High level of technical expertise.</span></li> <li><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">Experience with business law basics and loan documentation.</span></li> </ul>
