Overview: The Wealth Planner will serve as an expert on matters of estate and tax planning and on other various financial planning topics. The Wealth Planner will be responsible for working with HNW clients in creating personalized, and comprehensive wealth plans, and to assist the Private Bank team in developing and expanding client relationships.<br/><br/>
Responsibilities: <p><strong>Wealth Planning</strong></p> <ul> <li>Develop, consult on, and implement financial plans for clients, including those of the greatest complexity.</li> <li>Provide unbiased wealth planning strategies and advice across a range of financial planning needs.</li> <li>Collaborate with Private Bank team on specific subject matters and in the acquisition or expansion of clients.</li> <li>Review and summarize complex estate planning documents.</li> <li>Ability to work with business owners to provide them with advice on retirement and estate planning issues, specifically on business transition strategies.</li> <li>Experience guiding and encouraging the implementation of financial plans into appropriate solutions based on client goals.</li> <li>Understand and communicate the tax implications of various wealth planning strategies.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Client Servicing</strong></p> <ul> <li>Serve as a trusted advisor and financial coach to clients with significant wealth and complexity.</li> <li>Build, analyze and deliver personalized plans to clients</li> <li>Explain wealth planning, tax and investment management concepts and strategies, and factors impacting the markets to clients effectively through both written and oral communication.&nbsp;<strong>&nbsp;</strong></li> </ul> <p><strong>Other / Miscellaneous</strong></p> <ul> <li>Travel will be required to meet with clients across our multi-state footprint.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree, Juris Doctorate (JD) degree and/or licensed Certified Public Accountant.</li> <li>Certified Financial Planner (CFP)</li> <li>7 &ndash; 10 years of estate or financial planning experience.</li> <li>Deep knowledge of complex financial planning solutions and products, including the knowledge of financial markets, economic dynamics, tax law, and regulatory requirement relevant to financial planning.</li> <li>Proven ability to build trust and deliver needs based solutions to HNW clients.</li> <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to present planning concepts to individuals and large groups.</li> <li>History of collaborating with internal/external partners.</li> <li>Successful history in the fiduciary planning and asset management business and confirmed ability to handle and thrive in a dynamic business environment.</li> </ul>
