Competitive Compensation and Benefits Package

Overview: The Wealth Advisor will help current and prospective clients examine their immediate and planned future financial situations, identify their financial goals, and develop comprehensive investment and financial plan that takes into account risk, reward and opportunity. They are the In-market quarterback responsible for building and growing affluent relationships with the ultimate goal of maximizing wallet share. Wealth Advisors have the primary responsibility for driving solicitation of new business into the Wealth Platform, as well as growing deposits and loans. Ownership of the overall client relationship. Target new relationships in excess of $500,000 of deposits or AUM.
Responsibilities: <p><strong>Business Development</strong></p> <ul> <li>Identify and establish strong relationships with Wealth Management referral sources, commercial lenders, attorneys, CPAs and other professional centers of influence.</li> <li>Development of new and expanded client and institutional relationships with a primary focus on discretionary investment management.</li> <li>Responsible for developing new relationships for the Bank, and broadening and deepening the overall relationship of existing clients with the bank.</li> <li>Responsible to cross-sell bank products and make an introduction of bank partners to clients and prospects where appropriate.</li> <li>Understand and partner to deliver all solutions within Wealth Management (Retirement Plan Services, Fiduciary Services, Banking, Financial Services) to meet/exceed client experience. &nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>Investment Management</strong></p> <ul> <li>Ability to establish client investment objectives including risk tolerance, asset allocation, and cash requirements.</li> <li>Develop an investment strategy with each client based on their goals, objectives and risk tolerance, and annually review this strategy.</li> <li>Monitor portfolio performance versus the benchmark and develop insights regarding key contributors and detractors.</li> <li>Quarterly monitor asset allocation relative to policy and goals; and any portfolio issues (i.e., taxes, liquidity events, etc..) Present alternative investment ideas to clients.</li> <li>Evaluate large holdings for performance relative to the overall portfolio and plan strategies for diversification.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Financial Planning</strong></p> <ul> <li>Develop a knowledge of the client's entire financial and family situation and be able to structure a goals-based investment and financial plan. &nbsp;</li> <li>Prepare customized investment recommendations, including proactive, high impact planning solutions (estate, tax, insurance, stock options, investment, and retirement.)</li> <li>Understand and coordinate income tax planning and work closely with client tax advisors.</li> <li>Seek to establish a level of trust and confidence with the client so that any financial issue can be addressed and solutions offered.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Client Service</strong></p> <ul> <li>Act as the relationship leads for a book of clients, ensuring timely communication and support to both the client and their advisors.</li> <li>Must have the ability to discuss investment performance, economic and market trends.</li> <li>Prepare customized investment recommendations, including proactive, high impact planning solutions (estate, tax, insurance, stock options, investment, and retirement.)</li> </ul> <p><strong>Other / Miscellaneous</strong></p> <ul> <li>Travel is needed to meet with clients on-site at various locations across assigned region.</li> <li>Attend strategic meetings, speaking to advisory boards, speaking at officers&rsquo; meetings, coordinating with other lines of business within the Region.</li> <li>Community involvement.</li> <li>Other duties and projects as assigned.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree required</li> <li>7- 10 Years Experience in Function</li> <li>10 - 15 Years Experience in Industry</li> <li>CFP Preferred</li> <li>Bachelor's Degree in business, finance or related field and/or a minimum of 7 years progressive experience and high level of expertise in Wealth Management.</li> <li>Must have a minimum of 5 years financial planning, investment and/or private banking experience.</li> <li>Position requires strong quantitative, analytical and problem solving skills, along with robust analytical skills, both in identifying problems and evaluating solutions.</li> <li>Proficient in all Microsoft Office Applications, and experience manipulating Bank Core System; experience with Trust Accounting system and CRM preferred.</li> <li>Proficient listening, written and oral communication skills, with a passion for helping people with their financial needs.</li> <li>Must be able to profile clients and articulate concepts in an understandable way. Proven track record of 5+ years in sales.</li> </ul>
