Overview: A Senior Mortgage Loan Processor is responsible for the quality assembly of a completely documented residential mortgage application. She/he is the point of contact for the customer after initial application and acts as a liaison between the customer, loan originator, underwriter and closer. The Senior Mortgage Loan Processor collects documentation required to complete the mortgage application with the foresight and knowledge of underwriting requirements, agency and company guidelines. She/he will review underwriting conditions, obtain additional requested documentation necessary for a final approval and prepare the loan for closing. She/he will communicate effectively and professionally with all parties both internal and external.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">Review all data on the URLA 1003 application and process Credit Package - Income, Asset, Title and all other supporting documentation obtaining any missing information.</span></li> <li><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">Responsible for ordering required 3rd party verifications/documentation including but not limited to Credit Supplements, written verifications of employment, assets, mortgage/rent, verbal VOE&rsquo;s, HOA Certifications, etc.</span></li> <li><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">Responsible for the validation of documentation to meet regulatory, agency and company requirements.&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></li> <li><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">Submission of complete quality loan applications to underwriting within established timeframes.</span></li> <li><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">Gather and process underwriting conditions to submit for CTC (Clear To Close) and prepare loan for submission to closing within established timeframes.</span></li> <li><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">Responsible to provide the customer with timely and periodic status updates</span></li> <li><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">Participate in weekly pipeline reviews with assigned origination partners</span></li> <li><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">Effectively manage the pipeline to meet established timeframes and key performance indicators for production, cycle time and quality. Meet purchase contract dates, rate lock expirations and maintain accurate estimated closing dates.</span></li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">High school diploma or equivalent required</span></li> <li><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">3 - 5 Years&rsquo; experience in the function</span></li> <li><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">3 - 5 Years&rsquo; experience in industry</span></li> <li><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">Knowledge of various programs including Conventional, FHA, VA, MSHDA, RD, and Construction</span></li> <li><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">Proficient Automated Underwriting Systems (AUS)</span></li> <li><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">Working knowledge for validation of credit, income and asset documentation, appraisals, flood certifications,&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; title work, and homeowners insurance to meet all requirements</span></li> <li><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">Effective listening, verbal and written communication skills</span></li> <li><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">Ability to manage multiple priorities</span></li> <li><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">Flexible with the ability to work in a fast-paced ever-changing industry and to thrive in a team environment</span></li> <li><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">Strong customer service skills</span></li> </ul>
