Overview: The Mortgage Closing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all aspects of a closing team. The supervisor coordinates, coaches, mentors, and counsels team to ensure achievement of assigned goals and objectives. She/he will be responsible for pipeline monitoring to ensure the quality and timeliness of loan closings, meeting all quality, production and other department established metrics.
Responsibilities: <UL><LI>Provide training, guidance and coaching to address and clarify issues related to closing procedures and requirements, products, systems and required documentation.</LI><LI>Coordinate and manage daily work flow requirements applying effective loan balancing as necessary to meet established metrics. Completing the closing package preparation at times in effort to support volume</LI><LI>Ensure closing loan packages comply with regulatory and agency requirements and documentation.</LI><LI>Share performance data and metrics with team at monthly meetings to increase understanding and awareness of post-closing issues.</LI><LI>Participate and make recommendations related to staff changes, internal promotions, performance evaluations, recognition, employee relations issues, and disciplinary actions.</LI><LI>Stay current with regulations and industry that affect compliance and decision-making.</LI><LI>Respond to escalated issues quickly, communicate effectively, and work well under pressure.</LI><LI>Verify and ensure compliance with Company policies and procedures, as well as all applicable federal, state laws, regulatory and government standards, guidelines, rules, and/or local ordinances.</LI></UL>
Requirements: <UL><LI>High school diploma or equivalent required</LI><LI>3 - 5 Years’ experience in Supervisory function </LI><LI>3 - 5 Years’ experience in industry </LI><LI>Knowledge of various programs including Conventional, FHA, VA, MSHDA, RD and Construction</LI><LI>Effective listening, verbal and written communication skills</LI><LI>Ability to manage multiple priorities </LI><LI>Flexible with the ability to work in a fast paced ever changing industry and to thrive in a team environment </LI><LI>Strong customer service skills</LI></UL>
