Overview: <p>The Lead Systems Administrator is a part of the global IT team responsible for supporting infrastructure platforms across Chromalox. Overall responsibilities include designing integrated system solutions as well as managing system health, performance, and security. Additionally, this role will demonstrate leadership, provide expertise and architectural assistance to other IT personnel including system administrators and support analysts. Individuals in this position would be expected to take on multiple large complex infrastructure/integration projects.&nbsp;</p> <div id="gtx-trans" style="position: absolute; left: -55px; top: -20px;">&nbsp;</div>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>System design activities involving servers, network devices, and software</li> <li>System integration involving hardware, software, network, and database systems</li> <li>Research on new technologies in the field of systems development and infrastructure management;</li> <li>Continuous improvement of the environment</li> <li>Diagnose, analyze, and resolve complex problems</li> <li>Lead and/or participate in technical projects as assigned</li> <li>Monitor and respond to support needs as well as provide an escalation point for system administrators/support analysts</li> </ul>
Requirements: <div id="Jobs_JobDetail_JobRequiredSkillsText"> <ul> <li>Robust understanding of network infrastructure &amp; concepts</li> <li>Excellent troubleshooting skills paired with strong interpersonal skills including the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization</li> <li>Ability to execute tasks and projects from start to finish without supervision</li> <li>Leadership / mentoring of peers and less experienced staff</li> <li>Expert product knowledge in (Microsoft AD (on-prem and Azure), Windows Server OS, VMWare)</li> <li>Strong product knowledge in (Office365, Exchange Administration (Hybrid), Storage/SAN, Veeam, Microsoft SCCM, Azure)</li> <li>Capable of leading change in across cores IT areas (Systems Integration, Disaster Recovery, Infrastructure Management, Networking)</li> </ul> </div> <br /> <div id="Jobs_JobDetail_JobRequiredExperienceText"> <h2>Required Experience</h2> <p>Required Education &amp; Experience</p> <ul> <li>8 plus years of experience in a similar role</li> <li>Experience developing and maintaining knowledge bases, network diagrams, checklists, and support documentation</li> <li>Experience working with an IT case management or ticketing system</li> <li>BS Degree in an Information Technology discipline or equivalent work experience Excellent troubleshooting skills paired with strong interpersonal</li> </ul> </div>
