Full-Time/Regular

Overview: Under the supervision of the Project Manager, arranges schedules and regulates flow of work within or between organizational units in support of designated projects.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Maintains project plan and coordinates/expedites schedule compliance by establishing priorities and availability or capability of production, parts, material, machines and equipment.</li> <li>Checks master schedule and work orders, establishes priorities and changes schedule according to projects, work order specifications and established priorities; coordinates production release and sets up shop order packets and materials.</li> <li>Coordinates Interco requirements for multi-plant projects; third party inspections and services, logistics and MRB submittals.</li> <li>Coordinates all project documents; maintains revision control on all document submittals and returns; ensures proper record retention.</li> <li>Confers with production personnel and functional groups to resolve problems.</li> <li>Other duties as assigned through identified and established process improvements.</li> </ul> Additional Responsibilities <ul> <li>Support of company, department, and/or safety policies, procedures, programs and activities.</li> <li>Maintenance of a clean and orderly work area.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Associates degree from two-year College or University; with three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in project management.</li> <li>Apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions, deals with several abstract and concrete variables.</li> <li>Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and work order specifications. Good verbal and written communication skills are necessary.</li> <li>Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets and database software. JDE systems and Microsoft Project experience preferred.</li> <li>Work requires continual attention to detail in follow through, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.</li> </ul>
