Overview: <div id="Jobs_JobDetail_JobDescriptionText"> <p>We are searching for an organized, high-energy, high-integrity and motivated Associate Manager- Accounts Payable to provide strong leadership to our Accounts Payable department. The Associate Manager- Accounts Payable will ensure that the department operates smoothly, maintains accurate and complete records regarding payments to suppliers and employees and serves as a business partner to our manufacturing facilities, purchasing team and suppliers.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>To succeed as an Associate Manager- Accounts Payable, the candidate should be comfortable with change, demonstrate a strong desire to continuously improve and learn as well as build professional and lasting relationships with others in and outside of the business. Responsibilities: <div id="Jobs_JobDetail_JobRequiredSkillsText"> <h4><strong>Required Skills</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Trains and oversees AP team</li> <li>Directs assigned tasks and provides assistance as needed</li> <li>Assist in the preparation and delivery of performance evaluations</li> <li>Develops guidelines and best practices for AP processes</li> <li>Manage iPayables AP platform</li> <li>Ensures timely and accurate payment of vendors</li> <li>Maintain accurate and complete vendor records</li> <li>Secure and/or assure appropriate management approvals</li> <li>Assign account numbers to properly account for expenses</li> <li>Perform internal control review to avoid duplicate payments</li> <li>Perform integrity check of batched vouchers</li> <li>Maintain and update database for recurring expenses</li> <li>Audit and process employee travel expense reimbursements</li> <li>Handle vendor inquiries</li> <li>Verify vendor information for annual 1099's</li> <li>Process and control commission payments to outside reps</li> <li>Verify, coordinate, and process three-way inventory match with site locations</li> <li>Record live checks received for Accounts Receivable</li> <li>Other duties as assigned</li> </ul> </div>
Requirements: <h4><strong>Required Experience</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li> <li>A Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting or related field or equivalent experience is required</li> <li>A minimum of two years accounts payable experience and two years supervisory experience</li> <li>Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite</li> <li>Thorough understanding of accounts payable functions</li> <li>Excellent supervisory and analytical skills</li> <li>Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail</li> </ul>
