Overview: Analyzes systems and performs a variety of performance and production test on products and systems to confirm the product&rsquo;s compliance with quality standards.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Performs tests, calibrations, evaluations, and repairs of products and systems. Capable of performing technician duties with or without test fixtures and procedures.</li> <li>Performs necessary repairs and troubleshooting on products and systems with minimal technical assistance. Must be able to effectively use and interpret data from multimeters, oscilloscopes, logic probes/pulses, signal analyzers, frequency counters, logic analyzers, special purpose test fixtures, ATE, Hipot Testers, Insulation Resistance Testers, etc.</li> <li>May perform calibrations as required including troubleshooting of test equipment, test fixtures, and major manufacturing equipment. Performs calibration according to the manufacturer&rsquo;s specifications and/or company calibration procedures.</li> <li>Accomplishes required field repair and start-up of special systems or products. Develops product knowledge and troubleshooting skills so those customer repairs can be accomplished in an efficient manner.</li> <li>Maintains complete and accurate records regarding customer returns, completes Return Authorization and Repair Reports, Manufacturing Log Sheets, etc. Compiles required test data in an orderly manner.</li> <li>Works closely with Design/Project Engineering on special products or systems testing. With direction from Engineering, builds and evaluates circuit designs; maintains accurate test data.</li> <li>Performs test working with voltages ranging from 5V &ndash; 24V and 120V &ndash; 690V.</li> <li>Exercises independent judgment with a sound a technical background on Chromalox products.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Associate Science in Electronics required and more than one (1) year of applicable technician experience.</li> <li> <p>Live electrical test experience; ability to make independent decisions on matters having an important influence on the outcome of assigned projects.</p> </li> </ul>
