Temporary Part-Time

$15.20 - $19.00 Hourly

Overview: </dt> <dd><p>To perform a variety of Facility/Garage supportive functions including customer service, money handling, light maintenance and operating and maintaining the revenue control equipment.</p></dd> <dt><br/><br/>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Assist Parking Management in the daily operations of the parking facility.</li> <li>Perform cashiering functions in the parking facility as needed.</li> <li>Assist customers in the use of automated revenue control equipment including ticket dispensers, pay stations and exit station equipment.</li> <li>Prepare daily sales reports and cashier bank deposits when operating fee computer.</li> <li>Collect and categorize daily parking ticket transactions.</li> <li>Stock and maintain all revenue control equipment.</li> <li>Perform janitorial-related tasks necessary to maintain parking facility.</li> <li>The intent of this class description is to provide a representative summary of the types of duties and responsibilities that will be required of classifications given this title and shall not be construed as a declaration of the specific duties and responsibilities of any particular position. Incumbent may be required to perform job-related tasks other than those specifically presented in this job description.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong><br /> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED.</li> <li>One (1) year of experience in public parking or parking lot experience.</li> <li>Possession of and ability to maintain a valid State of Florida Driver's License.</li> <li>Complete and successfully pass the Florida State Certification for Parking Enforcement within one (1) year of employment.</li> </ul> <strong>Job Based Competencies</strong> <ul> <li>Ability to work flexible shift schedules.</li> <li>Ability to deal courteously and fairly with the public.</li> <li>Ability to be trained to operate and maintain revenue control equipment.</li> <li>Skilled in maintenance and upkeep of assigned facilities and equipment.</li> <li>Ability to track information and make mathematical computations quickly and accurately.</li> <li>Ability to keep accurate records and prepare reports neatly and legibly.</li> <li>Ability to establish and maintain effective and appropriate working relationships with the general public, agencies and other employees.</li> <li>Knowledge of record-keeping procedures and practices.</li> <li>Ability to troubleshoot revenue control equipment and other equipment within the facility.</li> <li>Ability to be bonded.</li> <li>Ability to use a calculator and a fee computer.</li> </ul> <div id="details-benefits" class="tab-pane">&nbsp;</div> <div id="details-questions" class="job-details-questions tab-pane">&nbsp;</div>
