Responsibilities: <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <p>Here is what you can expect in the way of job responsibilities:</p> <p><strong>Client Service</strong>: <strong>(20%)</strong></p> <ul> <li>Independently excellent at client service, demonstrated by clients consistently seeking your advice</li> <li>Proactively liaison between partners and clients providing project management and oversight throughout each client engagement</li> <li>Enthusiastically addresses opportunities and issues with a high level of engagement and energy</li> </ul> <p><strong>Technical: (40%)</strong></p> <ul> <li>Confidently influences and advises clients as a trusted business advisor by suggesting viable solutions to complex issues demonstrating strong technical abilities. Professionally and proactively leads client service and staff development in:&nbsp;</li> <li>Accounting and tax due diligence</li> <li>Quality of earnings analysis</li> <li>Synergy analysis</li> <li>Net working capital analysis</li> <li>Sale preparation</li> <li>Deal structuring</li> <li>Buy-side and sell-side tax structure analysis</li> <li>Post-acquisition steps</li> <li>Prepare and present reports and recommendations</li> </ul> <p><strong>Staff Development (20%)</strong></p> <ul> <li>Passionately develops staff and builds excellent teams</li> <li>Creatively seeks new staff members</li> <li>Drives technical development by providing opportunities for staff to develop</li> <li>Proactively retains key staff through career coaching and mentoring</li> <li>Purposefully provides performance feedback to ensure maximum achievement</li> </ul> <p><strong>Business Development (15%)</strong></p> <ul> <li>Curiously stays focused on industry trends and technology</li> <li>Contributes willingly to the business development of the firm</li> <li>Successfully builds network and participates in marketing efforts of the firm</li> <li>Proactively meets economic goals at the individual and team levels</li> <li>Drives firm growth by participating in a key technical area of the practice</li> </ul> <p><strong>Administration (5%)</strong></p> <ul> <li>Proactively seeks participation in initiatives of high importance to the firm</li> <li>Is a reliable corporate citizen. Requirements: <p><strong><u>Job requirements</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field</li> <li>CPA preferred with 2+ years public accounting experience</li> <li>5+ years of direct Transaction Advisory Service experience&nbsp;</li> <li>Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills</li> <li>Proven client service, project management, supervisory, and leadership skills</li> <li>Ability to self-direct, and manage multiple projects, priorities, and timelines</li> </ul> <p><strong>Our ideal Transaction Services Manager candidate would carry out their responsibilities while displaying the following key behavioral competencies:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Leads by example, with first-hand knowledge in area of expertise</li> <li>A strong leadership style with friendly follow-up on delegated tasks</li> <li>Thrives in a team environment.&nbsp; Willing to jump in and roll up their sleeves</li> <li>Is an open communicator.&nbsp; Has a persuasive selling rather than telling style</li> <li>Makes decisions with adherence to established guidelines and industry standards with a solid appreciation for how each item impacts the big picture of the success of the client and the growth of the firm</li> <li>Is socially focused with an ability to build and maintain valuable relationships</li> </ul>
