Manager

Overview: <p>The Advisory &amp; Assurance Manager will actively lead audit, review, and other assurance projects including planning, fieldwork, and wrap-up of all engagements.&nbsp; Lead engagement teams and manage client relationships including having responsibility for day-to-day client contact.&nbsp; Assist firm leadership in identifying new work and assist in obtaining new engagements.&nbsp; Create plans and budgets for audit and other assurance programs and ensure completion of engagements within a defined timeline.</p> <p>Hybrid and remote opportunities available.</p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Oversee all aspects of audits, reviews and other assurance engagements</li> <li>Identify new business opportunities</li> <li>Develop long-term relationships and networks both internally within the firm and externally with current and prospective clients, closely held middle market entrepreneurs</li> <li>Understand the clients&rsquo; industry, key performance drivers, business trends, and emerging technical and industry developments</li> <li>Understand service lines and actively assess ways to apply knowledge and services</li> <li>Mentor, train and develop staff and senior accountants</li> <li>Work collaboratively with other shareholders to manage client needs</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in accounting, finance, or another business-related field</li> <li>CPA certification</li> <li>6+ years of public accounting experience with a focus on audit and assurance</li> <li>Proven leadership skills demonstrating strong judgment, problem solving, and decision-making abilities</li> <li>Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, including excellent research and writing skills</li> </ul>
