Manager

Overview: Clayton &amp; McKervey is looking for a manager to support our Private Client Services department.&nbsp;
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Manage and review federal and state partnership, individual income tax returns.</li> <li>Work closely with clients, attorneys, and other related professionals to resolve tax-related issues.</li> <li>Review and interpret partnership documents and be knowledgeable about tax implications.</li> <li>Supervisor staff and senior accountants; Train others on partnership and individual tax preparations.</li> <li>Work collaboratively with other shareholders to manage client needs.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in accounting, finance, or another business-related field</li> <li>CPA certification</li> <li>7+ years of public accounting experience or equivalent in law firms or industry</li> <li>Strong experience with real estate entities and related issues such as special allocations, partnership step-ups</li> <li>Experience reviewing partnership and/or trust documents</li> <li>Knowledge of fiduciary accounting and general ledger accounting</li> <li>Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, including excellent research and writing skills</li> <li>Experience with fiduciary income tax returns, as well as gift, estate, and foundation filings beneficial</li> <li>Experience with high-net-worth individuals, S-corporations, partnerships, LLC&rsquo;s, trusts, and private foundations</li> <li></li> </ul>
