Overview: The Associate Art Director will be responsible to facilitate fresh conceptual ideas across multiple media channels and outlets. The Associate Art Director is critical in developing brand positioning and finding unique and creative ways to appeal to the customer and influence purchasing decisions. Develops concepts, designs and directs photography for both digital and print marketing tactics.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Oversees design teams and influences string work product through effective leadership.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Intakes requests to produce marketing deliverables based on creative/project briefs. Collaborate with department team members to ensure all work meets expected goals.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Work closely with Marketing and Product Managers to execute design deliverables. Anticipates internal and external concerns and maintain a level of flexibility to quickly respond to changing business needs.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Responsible for managing graphic designers, assigning workload accordingly.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Work closely with the Creative Director to ensure guidelines for the Collette brand are followed in all areas of design. Review and approve designs, artwork, photography, and graphics developed by other team members.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Assist with the selection of outside talent necessary for projects.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Take ownership, lead initiatives and successfully execute through all stages of creative development<br />on-target, on-time and on-budget.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li dir="auto">Must function at both the management level as well as execution of design deliverables.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li dir="auto">Experience in a direct-to-consumer business.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li dir="auto">Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop experience required.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li dir="auto">Experience directing photography a plus.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li dir="auto">Experience presenting/pitching creative concepts&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li dir="auto">Experience managing designers and outside talent&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li dir="auto">Organizational skills, adaptability and composure under fire are necessary&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li dir="auto">Must have a strong understanding&nbsp;of design and how to stay within brand guidelines&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> </ul>
