Overview: <p>Collette&rsquo;s Human Resources department has a need for a long-term Human Resources Assistant temp resource. The HR assistant will become a member of a dynamic human resources team in supporting the ongoing transformation of the function.</p> <p>The Human Resources Assistant will support with the administration of the day-to-day operations of the human resources functions and duties. Reporting directly to the Head of Human Resources the HR assistant carries out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas: executive administration, compensation, benefits, employee relations, recruiting, training and development, and organization development.</p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Act as the primary point of contact for all employees entering the Human Resources department, greeting employees with a positive attitude and helpful demeanor. Manage employee badges and ticket distribution. Resolve employees&rsquo; needs and answer questions as appropriate. Refer employees to other members of HR where necessary.</li> <li>Provide administrative support to members of the Human Resources department as needed. Work will include scanning documents, such as performance reviews and contracts, into employee files housed in the cloud. Administrative support will also include managing assigned tasks in the areas of compensation, benefits, recruiting, employee relations, and training.</li> <li>Work with the Head of Human Resources to conduct the monthly budget reconciliation, auditing for accuracy and working with members of the accounting team to make adjustments as needed. Prepare other expenses to be paid as needed.</li> <li>Manage the distribution of corporate credit cards. This will include ensuring appropriation documentation is collected, cards are ordered in a timely fashion, and careful distribution to employees across the company</li> <li>Assist the Head of Human Resources in managing calendar items as needed; scheduling meetings and booking conference rooms.</li> <li>Support the transition of the human capital management system.</li> <li>Perform other related duties as assigned or directed.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Previous administrative experience required.</li> <li>The ability to work as a team-player in a fast paced environment managing competing priorities and taking direction from several team members.</li> <li>Confidentiality, organizational, multi-tasking and verbal communication skills are critical for this role.</li> </ul>
