Overview: <p style="margin-bottom: 0pt;">Our Human Resources Director is mission-critical to our Employee First Team and to CommonSail overall.&nbsp; The HR Director is directly responsible for the overall administration, coordination and evaluation of the human resource function.&nbsp; This position will be a strategic business partner to business leaders providing strategic HR management, requiring a high level of HR service and expertise.&nbsp; The HR Director oversees and leads the HR Team by providing guidance on work and projects as well as coaching, training, and developing team members.&nbsp; The successful candidate will be results-focused, an innovative problem solver, self-motivated, and be energized by working amongst a group of thoughtful, smart, fast-paced and successful colleagues.&nbsp; He or she will enjoy being a part of an organization focused on excellent service to our internal business partners and employees and will be a naturally collaborative individual who enjoys interacting with individuals at all levels.&nbsp; Additionally, he or she will be a strong team player with a proactive approach and the ability to take initiative with discretion and judgment.</p> <br /><strong>We have comprehensive benefit packages that include health, dental, vision, 401(k), income protection, and extraordinary work-life benefits.</strong>
Responsibilities: </strong></p><ul><li>Provide excellent strategic HR service to business leaders and an advocate for employees ensuring they are consistently satisfied with our service. Responsible to make sure we are providing strong 1440 service to all business leaders and employees we serve</li><li>Build strong relationships and develop rapport with internal HR team, leadership team, and all employees to establish themselves as a trusted and knowledgeable HR resource for the organization</li><li>Manage all HR aspects of new builds and acquisitions</li><li>Set team goals, priorities, and strategies that align to the Company’s mission, vision, and values. Effectively communicate these goals and expectations to team members</li><li>Provide training to HR team and other business leaders on knowledge based and developmental topics</li><li>Oversee talent management strategy</li><li>Drive continuous performance improvement</li><li>Assist with performance management and career development programs</li><li>Accomplish quarterly goals and ensure HR team objectives are being met</li><li>Challenge and change core business processes when necessary to provide a more streamlined business service to internal teams</li><li>Oversee and manage HR team projects. Delegate work to team members and review work prior to implementation</li><li>Maintain responsibility for organization compliance with federal, state, and local legislation</li><li>Support business leaders through mergers, acquisitions, layoffs, organizational restructures, and other business changes</li><li>Extensive local and potential out of town travel required</li></ul><p style="margin-bottom: 0pt;"><strong>
Requirements: </strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in human resource management or related field</li><li>PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification or Master’s degree in Human Resources preferred</li><li>Minimum of 7-10 years of solid human resources experience</li><li>Experience leading teams</li><li>Competent in all areas of human resources such as HR policies and compliance, strategic workforce planning, performance management, talent management, engagement, training and development, payroll, HR laws and regulations, employee relations, and succession planning</li><li>Proficiency in MS Office Suite and experience with HRIS platforms</li></ul><p style="margin-bottom: 0pt;"><strong>Key Competencies:</strong></p><ul><li>Comfort around higher management; can easily communicate with senior leadership and can present themselves as a confident and competent HR partner</li><li>Display a positive attitude and passion for serving our business leaders and employees</li><li>Demonstrate a working knowledge of critical HR functions and deliver customized HR solutions for organizational practices</li><li>Make sound decisions based on logic and reasoning even in the absence of complete information</li><li>Show personal commitment to the company’s values and mission (6 pillars) and create team milestones and goals consistent with the Company’s culture and vision</li><li>Ability to have courageous conversations and give feedback as necessary</li><li>Able to lead training sessions, present in front of others, and communicate team goals clearly</li><li>Ability to lead teams through times of change and ambiguity</li><li>Approachable and able to successfully build relationships and develop rapport and trust with diverse groups of people</li><li>Has the courage to tackle difficult problems and act with resilience when faced with challenges</li><li>Manage complex situations by evaluating multiple solutions, encouraging others to consider new perspectives, and providing clarity and guidance</li><li>Strong business acumen; understand business metrics and can use this information to make decisions</li></ul> </div> </div> </div> <h2 class="iCIMS_InfoMsg iCIMS_InfoField_Job">
