Overview: Compass Health is currently looking for an Office Manager to support our team at Aurora House!<br /> <br />The Office Manager oversees and provides administrative and clerical support for Aurora House. Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Hires, supervises, and trains clerical/support/office personnel.</li> <li>Plans, oversees, and supervises the flow of support work for the Program(s).</li> <li>Provides technical assistance to all support staff as requested by Manager.</li> <li>Develops and implements forms and procedures following accepted organization protocol.</li> <li>Orders supplies and equipment according to agency procedures.</li> <li>Oversees and ensures accurate, timely processing of required paperwork including client charts.</li> <li>Circulates as appropriate and keeps up to date all communications received including faxes, manuals, flyers and reports.</li> <li>Provides secretarial support including word processing, filing, faxing, copying, and greeting consumers, answering client and customer questions.</li> <li>Monitors client charts, files, manuals, minutes, clinical paperwork and required reports.</li> <li>Performs and/or supervises billing and/or other data entry as needed.</li> <li>Participates in regularly scheduled supervision and team meetings.</li> <li>Remains compliant with required trainings and certifications.</li> <li>Behaves in an ethical and professional manner consistent with agency policy, state law, and licensing entities if applicable.</li> <li>Understands and practices safekeeping of client protected health information per Compass Health&rsquo;s HIPAA and other agency policies and procedures.</li> <li>Demonstrates respect for diversity and a commitment to developing multicultural competency and sensitivity.</li> <li>Demonstrates commitment to Compass Health&rsquo;s Strategic Intention, core Values and Core Competencies.</li> </ul> <br /><strong>PROGRAM SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</strong><br /> <ul> <li>Prepares monthly staff schedule and arranges coverage in accordance with labor contract agreements.</li> <li>Processes records requests and maintains logs of all records and chart requests.</li> <li>Sends daily reports to NSBHO regarding daily census and seclusion and restraint events.</li> <li>Collects and prepares monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports.</li> <li>Maintains communication with various insurance companies as necessary.</li> </ul> <br />
Requirements: <ul> <li>High School Diploma required, AA or BA degree preferred.</li> <li>4 years of office management experience, or a comparable combination of education and experience.</li> <li>Experience with office staff management, or demonstrates possession of the required skills, knowledge and abilities related to supervision.</li> <li>Experience in computer billing and bookkeeping preferred.</li> <li>Current First Aid &amp; CPR certification and Food Handlers permit, or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.</li> <li>Valid Washington State Driver&rsquo;s License including vehicle and appropriate insurance, if applicable.</li> </ul> <br /> <br /><strong>What you will be sharing</strong><br /> <ul> <li>Ability to travel as needed and be available by pager.</li> <li>Demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to multitask within a fast-paced environment.</li> <li>Ability to maintain a positive, solution-focused demeanor when responding to conflicts or problems.</li> <li>Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.</li> <li>Excellent typing, word processing, dictation, and proofreading skills.</li> <li>General computer proficiency, including the ability to utilize electronic medical record systems.</li> <li>Ability to pass pre-employment criminal background check, which may or may not include an additional search by DSHS.</li> </ul> <br />
