Overview: We are seeking a Child and Family Therapist to join our dedicated team in providing excellent behavioral health services to children, youth, adults, and families in South Snohomish County.<br /> <br />The Lynnwood Child and Family Team is a diverse and highly skilled group of clinical practitioners and support staff. We provide a wide range of services including individual therapy, family therapy and group therapy, and attend to our clients&rsquo; needs utilizing evidence-based practices, short-term therapy, and case management support, all with a client-centered approach. We provide weekly individual supervision for licensure with a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist or a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, dependent upon your supervisory needs.<br /> <br />The Lynnwood Child and Family Clinic is located on the corner of 48th Street and 196th Street SW, in the heart of the newly transforming city center area of Lynnwood. We are on the bus line and just blocks away from the transit center and the upcoming Light Rail link. Responsibilities: Clients request our services to help them adjust to difficult circumstances, recover from trauma, and learn healthy skills to ameliorate symptoms of depression, anxiety, and other mental health conditions. We provide parent education and support, and advocate for our clients with other systems within the community.<br /> <br />As a Child &amp; Family Therapist, you will work with clients and families to assess their functioning and needs and partner with them to develop an individually tailored care plan to help them meet their goals and improve functioning.
Requirements: <ul> <li>MA/MS/MSW Degree in a Behavioral Science related field.</li> <li>Qualifies as a Mental Health Professional (MHP) as defined by WAC, preferred.</li> <li>Passionate about working with individuals with complex needs and multi-system involvement.</li> <li>A positive, flexible, and solution-focused attitude when faced with conflict or problems.</li> <li>A desire to work with a fun team doing great work.</li> </ul>
