Responsibilities: Families seek counseling for a variety of reasons. Sometimes circumstantial life changes can bring about symptoms of depression, anxiety, and mood disorders, or there may be challenges at school, with peers, or in the community. As a Child &amp; Family Therapist, you will work with these families to assess the client / youth / family functioning and needs and then partner with them to develop an individually tailored care plan to help them meet their goals and promote positive changes in behavior. In addition, the clinical supervisor will provide clinical supervision to mental health therapists seeking state licensure as well as interns. The clinical supervisor will be supervised by the Smokey Point Child &amp; Family Outpatient Program Manager.
Requirements: <ul> <li>MA/MS/MSW Degree in a Behavioral Science related field.</li> <li>Current Washington State Licensure in Social Work, Marriage and Family therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.</li> <li>Qualifies as a Mental Health Professional (MHP) as defined by WAC.</li> <li>Washington State Approved Supervisor Training must be completed prior to providing clinical supervision.</li> <li>Ability to pass pre-employment criminal background check.</li> </ul> <br /> <strong>Who we are</strong><br /><br /> Compass Health is the region&rsquo;s largest private, non-profit organization providing mental health and chemical dependency services in Island, San Juan, Skagit, Snohomish, and Whatcom counties of Western Washington.
