Overview: Child Advocacy Program (CAP) Child &amp; Family Therapist<br /> <br />Everett<br /> <br />Compass Health is currently looking for a Child &amp; Family Therapist/Trauma Specialist who is interested in providing excellent clinical care to children and youth who have disclosed sexual or physical abuse, and support to their families, in a unique inter-disciplinary setting working with other committed and dynamic professionals.<br /> <br />The Child Advocacy Program (CAP) team is a competent, hardworking, supportive and collaborative team of trauma therapists dedicated to providing high quality, evidence-based trauma treatment to our clients. We offer individual therapy, family therapy and group therapy. The therapists on our team interact and coordinate care with a variety of inter-disciplinary professionals at Dawson Place Child Advocacy Center and in the community, who are similarly dedicated to supporting children who have disclosed abuse and helping them to find healing and justice.<br /> <br />Therapists on the CAP team are supported by weekly individual LMFT supervision provided by experienced and competent supervisors. In addition, we value team meetings and consults, social connection and laughter, and an emphasis on self-care and the personal growth of the therapists on the team.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>The clients a families seeking assistance from the Child Advocacy Program are victims of child sexual or physical abuse, which impacts the lives of our clients in a variety of stressful and difficult ways.</li> <li>As a therapist in the CAP program, you will work with these children, teens, and young adults (up to the age of 22) to assess their functioning and needs, and partner with them to develop an individually tailored care plan to provide trauma treatment and help them meet their goals for healing. You will also provide support for families impacted by the trauma, and guidance as our clients navigate the CPS and legal systems involved in their lives.</li> <li>We can provide weekly individual supervision for licensure with an LICSW or LMHC dependent on your supervisory needs.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>MA/MS/MSW Degree in a Behavioral Science related field</li> <li>Qualifies as a Mental Health Professional (MHP) as defined by WAC preferred</li> <li>Training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy preferred</li> <li>Experience working with children who have experienced trauma preferred</li> <li>Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Evidence-Based Practices, or interest and ability to learn</li> <li>Ability to work effectively with individuals with complex needs and multi-system involvement</li> </ul> <br />What we offer<br /> <ul> <li>Medical, dental, and vision insurance at NO COST to full time employees.</li> <li>16 days of vacation the first year.</li> <li>12 sick days including a wellness day.</li> <li>13 paid holidays &ndash; 11 traditional holidays, plus 2 floating holidays.</li> <li>$500 in professional funds per year.</li> <li>Up to 5 days paid education leave.</li> <li>403(b) retirement plan with up to 2% company match after the first year.</li> <li>Supervision hours towards licensure.</li> </ul> <br />This totals over 45 paid days off in your first year!
