Overview: <p><strong>Licensed Scale:</strong>&nbsp;$32.78&ndash;$48.65/hr DOE</p> <p>Compass Health is currently looking for a&nbsp;<strong>Child &amp; Family Therapist / Trauma Specialist</strong>&nbsp;to join our Child Advocacy Program (CAP) team in Lynnwood. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality, evidence-based trauma treatment to children and youth who have experienced sexual or physical abuse, while supporting families and working closely with community professionals.</p> <h3><strong>About the CAP Team</strong></h3> <p>The CAP team is a committed, compassionate, and skilled group of trauma therapists who collaborate closely with professionals at&nbsp;<strong>Dawson Place Child Advocacy Center</strong>&nbsp;and other agencies. Together, we support children, adolescents, and young adults up to age 22, helping them heal and navigate legal and child protection systems.</p> <p>This position offers the opportunity to be part of a multi-disciplinary network of support, and to work in a collaborative, trauma-informed, and mission-driven environment. Responsibilities: <ul> <li> <p>Deliver individual, family, and group therapy tailored to youth and families impacted by trauma.</p> </li> <li> <p>Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans in partnership with clients.</p> </li> <li> <p>Provide support and guidance to families as they navigate CPS and legal systems.</p> </li> <li> <p>Collaborate with other professionals and advocacy partners to coordinate care and services.</p> </li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li> <p>MA/MS/MSW Degree in a Behavioral Science-related field.</p> </li> <li> <p>Meets qualifications as a Mental Health Professional (MHP) per WAC (preferred).</p> </li> <li> <p>Training in&nbsp;<strong>Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy</strong>&nbsp;(TF-CBT) preferred.</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience with trauma-exposed youth strongly preferred.</p> </li> <li> <p>Strong collaboration skills, especially with multi-system, inter-agency coordination.</p> </li> <li> <p>Demonstrated knowledge of or ability to learn Evidence-Based Practices.</p> </li> </ul>
