Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver strength-based, individualized support.</li> <li>Use your own lived experience to build&nbsp;<strong>trust and connection</strong>&nbsp;with caregivers.</li> <li>Coach families in navigating systems (mental health, schools, child welfare, etc.).</li> <li>Help caregivers&nbsp;<strong>find their voice</strong>&nbsp;and build skills to advocate for their child&rsquo;s needs.</li> <li>Provide flexible support in homes, schools, and community spaces&mdash;some evening/weekend hours required.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li><strong>Required</strong>: High School Diploma or GED.</li> <li><strong>Preferred</strong>: AA or BA in a related field.</li> <li>Must be&nbsp;<strong>21+ years old.</strong></li> <li>Must have&nbsp;<strong>lived experience</strong>&nbsp;as a parent/caregiver of a child with behavioral health challenges.</li> <li>Completion of Certified Peer Counselor online training (or willingness to complete upon hire).</li> <li>Valid WA State Driver&rsquo;s License &amp; insured vehicle.</li> </ul> <br /> <h4><strong>What You&rsquo;ll Need to Know:</strong></h4> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Child development and parenting strategies.</li> <li>Trauma-informed and recovery-oriented care.</li> <li>Community resources for families.</li> <li>Ability to&nbsp;<strong>hold boundaries while offering hope.</strong></li> <li>Comfort working with culturally diverse families.</li> <li>Computer and EMR skills (we&rsquo;ll train you!).</li> </ul> <br /><br /> <h4><strong>About Compass Health</strong></h4> <p>With over 110 years of service, Compass Health is Western Washington&rsquo;s largest private, non-profit provider of behavioral healthcare.
