Responsibilities: <ul> <li data-section-id="16zd2xh"> <p>Provide recovery-focused behavioral health counseling and case management services to clients.</p> </li> <li data-section-id="1mrv0vw"> <p>Develop individualized treatment plans and evaluate progress toward treatment goals.</p> </li> <li data-section-id="1dd1qxa"> <p>Coordinate services and collaborate with treatment teams, psychiatric providers, emergency services, and community agencies.</p> </li> <li data-section-id="k0t5ps"> <p>Deliver evidence-based and trauma-informed clinical interventions whenever possible.</p> </li> <li data-section-id="1wix1u3"> <p>Provide individual and group services, including psychoeducation groups.</p> </li> <li data-section-id="vvndld"> <p>Assess risk factors including danger to self or others and develop mitigation plans with clients.</p> </li> <li data-section-id="tdmhuf"> <p>Monitor compliance with court orders and complete required documentation when applicable.</p> </li> <li data-section-id="wo5elf"> <p>Identify resources and coordinate referrals to supportive services such as substance use treatment when clinically appropriate.</p> </li> <li data-section-id="1eedvxe"> <p>Support clients in building natural supports and community connections.</p> </li> <li data-section-id="5yxs5f"> <p>Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with agency, regulatory, and billing standards.</p> </li> <li data-section-id="1hpvilh"> <p>Participate in supervision, team meetings, and required training.</p> </li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li data-section-id="bddbbp"> <p><strong>BA/BS/BSW degree</strong>&nbsp;in a Behavioral Science-related field.</p> </li> <li data-section-id="93ryd9"> <p>Knowledge of Evidence-Based Practices or willingness to learn.</p> </li> <li data-section-id="r0hgng"> <p>Ability to meet Washington State requirements for an&nbsp;<strong>Agency Affiliated Counselor</strong>&nbsp;if not already licensed.</p> </li> <li data-section-id="10ih4fq"> <p>Valid&nbsp;<strong>Washington State Driver&rsquo;s License</strong>, insurance, and reliable transportation (if required for the role).</p> </li> <li data-section-id="1cg6yvr"> <p>Ability to pass a&nbsp;<strong>criminal background check</strong>, which may include a DSHS review.</p> </li> </ul> <h3 data-section-id="1u4rs9l">Preferred Skills &amp; Experience</h3> <ul> <li data-section-id="ddu57m"> <p>Experience working in&nbsp;<strong>behavioral health, social services, or healthcare</strong>.</p> </li> <li data-section-id="fv00os"> <p>Ability to work effectively with individuals with complex needs and multi-system involvement.</p> </li> <li data-section-id="3hufw5"> <p>Strong&nbsp;<strong>communication, organization, and documentation skills</strong>.</p> </li> <li data-section-id="1y1ge6v"> <p>Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.</p> </li> <li data-section-id="xdz1lw"> <p>Experience using&nbsp;<strong>electronic medical records (EMR)</strong>&nbsp;systems.</p> </li> </ul>
