Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Use your lived experience as a young person with behavioral health needs to connect authentically with clients.</li> <li>Provide mentorship, advocacy, and peer support to youth participating in WISe services.</li> <li>Help youth find their voice, participate in care planning, and build lasting support networks.</li> <li>Work flexible hours, including&nbsp;<strong>evenings and weekends</strong>, in home, office, and community settings.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p>
Requirements: <ul> <li><strong>High School Diploma or GED</strong>&nbsp;(AA or BA in related field preferred).</li> <li>Must be&nbsp;<strong>21 years of age or older.</strong></li> <li><strong>Lived experience</strong>&nbsp;with mental health services as a youth.</li> <li>Completion of&nbsp;<strong>Certified Peer Support Specialist training course&nbsp;</strong>before start; CPSS-T credential in pending status before start.</li> <li>Valid&nbsp;<strong>WA State Driver&rsquo;s License</strong>, insured vehicle.</li> <li>If not licensed, must submit an&nbsp;<strong>Agency Affiliated Counselor</strong>&nbsp;application upon hire.</li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong>Preferred Experience</strong></p> <ul> <li>Peer Counselor Certification or experience.</li> <li>Background in mental health, social services, or healthcare.</li> <li>Familiarity with child development, behavior management, and working with culturally diverse families.</li> <li>Knowledge of local community resources.</li> <li>Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.</li> </ul> <p><br /> </p> <p><strong>About Compass Health</strong></p> <p>Compass Health is the largest private, non-profit provider of behavioral health and substance use treatment in Northwest Washington.
