Overview: Working under minimal supervision of the Sr. Manager, Inside Microsoft Consulting, referring only exceptional problems and issues for management review or approval, the Microsoft Cloud Consultant advises customers on the adoption of Microsoft Cloud Solutions and drives consumption of cloud licensing. The Consultant provides cloud technology advice and support to Sales and customers. <div id="gtx-trans" style="position: absolute; left: -79px; top: -20px;">&nbsp;</div>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li id="field2_left">The Consultant leverages&nbsp;Azure, O365, EMS &amp; Dynamics knowledge&nbsp;to effectively advise customers on how to achieve the best business outcomes through licensing and services. </li> <li>In addition, they advise customers on when and how to move workloads to the Cloud. </li> <li>The&nbsp;Consultant&nbsp;creates a customer blueprint for consumption and&nbsp;effectively delivers a well-prepared presentation outlining the best Microsoft solutions per the customer's business needs. </li> <li>The Consultant helps with sizing and architecting Microsoft cloud workloads.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or related field preferred</li> <li>Minimum of 10 years of experience working in the technology industry</li> <li>At least 3 years of experience around Microsoft Azure preferred</li> <li>Technical proficiency in and learning attitude toward Azure technologies</li> <li>Advanced Microsoft Office skills to include creating presentations, creating documents in Word to included advanced formatting, creating spreadsheets to include the use of macros</li> <li>Working knowledge of sales strategies including upselling with proven success in a goal driven environment</li> <li>Adept at proactively finding business opportunities within existing customer base.</li> <li>Customer oriented with ability to listen to and identify next solution</li> <li>Proven experience in Microsoft Cloud technology with ability to craft comprehensive Cloud solutions and articulate business solutions</li> <li>Understanding data center technologies</li> <li>Thorough understanding of the various available IT solutions, including all Microsoft Services.</li> <li>Adaptable with ability to switch tasks based on shifting priorities</li> <li>Analytical with ability to draw conclusions from data, systematic and rational</li> <li>Interpersonal skills with ability to work well with all levels of the organization</li> <li>Conceptual with ability to conceive mentally, formulate ideas, use imagination to achieve results</li> <li>Organized state of mind with ability to document activities, anticipate problems, plan schedules and monitor performance according to priorities and deadlines</li> <li>Excellent verbal communication skills with ability to present professional demonstrations</li> <li>Excellent written communication skills with ability to compose professional business communications via email, letter, and proposals.</li> <li>Customer service skills, team work, problem-solving skills, capacity to deal with difficult customers and ability to thrive in ambiguity.</li> </ul>
